2004 WRB STi for sale. 128xxx on it. Motor has 15k built and tuned by JohnJohn at Outback Auto in Seattle WA. Full 3inch exhaust. 06 roof vane installed. 17" gold BBS with newer high performance all seasons.
Motor when built was a 2006 STi block brand new straight from Subaru. Has a Killer B oil pickup. Had the heads ported and polished. Put a brand new VF39 turbo on it. The down pipe is an invidia 3" bellmouth and the exhaust is SRS. 3 inch from the turbo back. Has a Perrin Air intank. Gates Racing timing belt. Racing crank bearings and a few other goodies. This car runs like a champ and is good for at least 340hp. Clutch was replaced at 90k with a brand new Subaru OEM. Brakes were done 15k ago with brand new sport pads and rotors.
Interior is in good shape. Everything functions and looks very good. Steering wheel has wear on top. Carpet shows wear but still looks good. Has all original floor mats. Back seat has a small hole from old owner. I'd say interior is a 8.
Exterior is not bad. Front bumper, hood and driver fender were replaced after being backed into. Light hit but I had all 3 parts replaced. Rear bumper was replaced a few years ago when someone rolled into me at a stop light and cracked the paint. I didn't feel the hit. Just heard her start crying. Haha
Back passenger door and quarter panel have rock chips. Lost a mudflap while playing on a dirt road. They aren't too bad and could probably be buffed out. Auto body shop quoted $350 for the repair.
Passenger front fender has 2 dents. Guy at work opened his truck door into it twice in 5 minutes. I'm sure they will come right out as multiple paintless dent guys have stopped me and offered to do it for $75.
Exterior is probably a 7 because of those.
Gold BBS are in good shape. Light curb marks on 2 wheels. :(
Driver front brembo got scraped when a BBS was bent and hit the wheel. BBS was $1400 to replace so it was claimed with insurance. Hence the 1 "accident" on the report. I touched it up with paint. Doesn't affect operation at all. Hardly noticeable.
More pictures will be added later.
You pay to ship or come out to Seattle and pick it up. If you fly out I'll meet you at the airport with it with a full tank of gas and fresh oil change for the drive. PAYMENT TO BE VIA CASH OR CASHIERS CHECK ONLY! Had a friend have someone pay with paypal and then they filed a claim. Car came back in pieces.

Subaru brings sportier XV, Legacy and Levorg concepts to Tokyo Auto Salon
Mon, Jan 12 2015'Tis the season of the auto shows, boys and girls. We just came down from the techno-fest that was CES, we're set for the start of the Detroit Auto Show, in the UK they're holding the Autosport International racecar show, and in Japan they just opened the Tokyo Auto Salon. And true to form, Subaru was on hand with a wide assortment of tuned machinery. Aside from the competition-spec WRX and BRZ we brought you a few days ago, Subaru also spruced up some of its production models for the street. One of the most intriguing was the Levorg S that gives us an idea of what the conceptual Legacy wagon would look like in STI spec, complete with the requisite blue paint, red trim and STI badges, but also a full aero kit, 19-inch BBS wheels and carbon-fiber trim, plus an interior with bucket seats, flat-bottom rim and all the fixins. The Japanese automaker also showcased a version of the Legacy sedan dubbed Blitzen, decked out in bright red with a similarly upgraded aero kit, 19-inch alloys and a two-tone interior. The XV Crosstrek that was recently launched on this side of the Pacific as a special edition in bright yellow rolled in to the Tokyo salon in the same shade, but with upgrades similar to those on the aforementioned Levorg and Legacy show cars. The XV Sport concept wears upgraded aero, 17-inch wheels and a complementing yellow-trimmed back interior. Also on display was an even less subtle WRX S4 customized by Prova, done up in white but with an outlandish body kit, 20-inch Enkei alloys and a dropped suspension, as well as the new Forester tS.
2020 Subaru Outback teased, will be all-new at the New York Auto Show
Wed, Apr 10 2019The 2020 Subaru Outback is officially confirmed for a debut at the New York International Auto Show, and Subaru says it's going to be "all-new." That's all the official information we have to go on at this point, but Subaru released a teaser photo to give us a glimpse of the tall, rugged wagon before the reveal on April 17. We can tell a few differences just from the photo here. The lower bumper surround and foglight design is more compact than the big round lights that sit down there currently. Subaru has changed the side mirror design, adding a bit of flair with chrome on this model. It's tough to tell what the headlight design will look like, but it's certainly a different shape and size than the current units that stretch back further into the fenders. There's even more black plastic cladding on the car now, too. Subaru had plenty of the stuff going up and down the Outback before, but the wheel arch molding was optional. It's unclear whether it's going to remain that way or be the only way it comes now. One small thing we noticed was the location of the "Outback" designation in the body cladding — it moved from being under the front door to under the rear door. Subaru appears to be offering a new black wheel option that we see on this car, as well. The Outback last received a significant update for the 2018 model year. That car was also revealed at NYIAS, but it was a relatively minor update compared to what's coming. We'll expect to see a lot of the same features as what was revealed in the new 2020 Legacy at the Chicago Auto Show earlier this year. That car went way upscale with its interior design, moved to Subaru's Global Platform, dropped the flat six for a turbo flat-four and features a massive 11.6-inch touchscreen. It's no surprise we're seeing the new Outback so soon after the Legacy update, as Subaru has traditionally updated the two vehicles this way.
Toyota GT86 convertible on 'indefinite hold'
Sat, 05 Oct 2013Bad news, sportscar fans. According to a new report from What Car?, Toyota has cancelled plans to produce a GT86 convertible, a model based on the FT-86 Open Concept that debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. In truth, Toyota never actually confirmed it would produce the budget-friendly droptop in the first place, but rumors have been flying since last year and Toyota reportedly showed its embattled Scion dealers a FR-S version of the convertible in August. Presumably, this means that a lidless variant of the Subaru BRZ is not in the cards, either.
The reason for the move is unknown, though What Car? reports "one possible cause is weight; Toyota did say that further work would be required on rigidity before the convertible could be launched, and that could have added extra bulk that conflict with the regular GT86's ethos of light weight and agile handling." It doesn't look like that work will happen anytime soon, as "sources now say that the car has now been delayed indefinitely, with no place in Toyota's product plan in either 2014 or 2015." Still holding out hope? What Car? says the project could be "fast-tracked" if management decides it wants to reboot the program down the road.
