This is my 1998 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. She's got 263,214 well maintained miles on her. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts perfectly with no grinding, the clutch grabs great and seems to have alotta life left.

In the last 10,000 miles I've installed a new timing belt, tensioner, and water pump. I did a tune up including plugs and wires, and a used ignition coil. I did a compression test and everything is great. The rear struts were also done. The interior is in used but good condition with no stains and no smells. The radio works great and has a aux jack.

The car will need new tires in the next few thousand miles, there is the classic rusty Subaru rear quarter panels. There seems to be a little exhaust leak developing on the drivers side. Besides these minor maintance issues there is no problems. This car starts right up, runs great and is unstopable in the snow.

A closer look at the 2015 Subaru Legacy

The Subaru Legacy might not have been the hottest debut at the recent Chicago Auto Show, but for the Japanese automaker, it's hugely important. Much as we'd love to focus on Subaru's more engaging WRX, STI and BRZ models, the truth is, its the mainstream Forester, Outback and Legacy that make up the vast majority of the brand's sales, not to mention the Impreza and XV Crosstrek.
This new Legacy looks to gain a lot more traction in the mainstream market than its predecessor, with handsome, if familiar, styling, standard all-wheel drive, and more efficient powertrains. Under the hood, customers can choose between a 2.5-liter boxer-four, or a more powerful six-cylinder engine. Subaru says that the four-cylinder setup actually boasts class-leading fuel economy for all-wheel-drive vehicles in the Legacy's class.

Subarus, straits, a shipwreck, and the end of the world

We've got one more short video glimpse at our Patagonia adventure before the big, final feature video goes live early next month. This time, it's a view of the end of our journey – and the end of the world. Crossing the Straits of Magellan took about two hours on our car ferry, and we saw penguins, orcas, and dolphins, which made the journey way more interesting. From there, we drove through Chile and crossed back into Argentina, stopped by the Desdemona Â– a 30-year-old shipwreck Â– and finally spent the night in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world (Antarctica only has bases, not cities). The next morning, our caravan ventured to Tierra del Fuego National Park, and we stood, as a group, at the end of the world Â– the farthest south any of us will probably venture for the rest of our lives.
