Interior is very very clean, I would rate it as a strong 9.5 out of 10.  Car was open source tuned locally by a well known tuner, tune is very conservative and for the car to run optimally it could really use a professional dyno tune (protune).  This car has the potential to be very quick, these motors are the same that are used in the subaru sti cars.  Clutch is in great shape, feels tight and engages exactly as it should.  Differential and brake fluids recently done.  Car runs drives and shifts great, everything works, no check engine lights.  Car does have very light hail damage on roof and hood, nearly impossible to get pictures of and cannot really see unless you are very close and in the right light.  Car also has a crack in windshield that is very low and out of driver view.  I have tried to include pictures of all imperfections etc.  I encourage buyers to come view locally before bidding.  ANY QUESTIONS CONCERNS OR COMMENTS PLEASE ADVISE BEFORE BIDDING!

CLEAN CLEAR SIGNED NOTARIZED MONTANA TITLE IN MY NAME.

I have the stock Forester struts in great shape, stock intercooler, stock wastegate, stock intake, and lots of other small parts to go along with the sale.  I HAVE TAKEN AS MANY PICTURES AS I CAN TO SHOW ALL IMPERFECTIONS, ASK BEFORE BIDDING IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANYMORE.

DON'T FALL ASLEEP ON THIS ONE FOLKS!  REMEMBER EBAY WORKS ON PROXY BIDDING!

Proxy bidding is an implementation of an English second-price auction used on eBay, in which the winning bidder pays the price of the second-highest bid plus a defined increment. It differs from a Vickrey auction in that bids are not sealed; the "current highest bid" (defined as second-highest bid plus bid increment) is always displayed. In a standard first-price English auction the winner pays the amount of their bid, regardless of competitors' bids, and it is therefore desirable to place a bid that exceeds the current highest bid by the smallest possible increment. Under proxy bidding, however, the price paid is determined only by competitors' bids and not by the amount of the new bid, and so there is no economically rational incentive to place a bid below the amount one is willing to pay, or to place multiple increasing bids. An "economically rational" bidder will therefore bid the maximum amount they are willing to pay on their first bid, and never raise their bid.

PAYMENT PREFERED VIA IN PERSON, OR WIRE TRANSFER, OR CASHIERS CHECK WITH A 7 BUSINESS DAY HOLDING PERIOD.  I HAVE 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK DOING MANY HIGH DOLLAR TRANSACTIONS.  EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID.

Lexus, Mazda and Subaru top Consumer Reports Brand Report Cards

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

A revised methodology in devising its annual Car Brand Report Cards has seen Consumer Reports award Lexus its top overall ranking for 2013. For the first time ever, the institute broke out individual brands from their larger corporate umbrellas, meaning car makers like Lexus and Scion were judged independently from parent company Toyota. That strategy worked out well for Lexus, as the luxury brand earned a top report card score of 79 for the 2013 model year.
The institute has recommended every one of the Lexus models it has tested to date, and said that the company's products won out thanks to "a foundation of plush and very reliable vehicles."
Meanwhile, Mazda and Subaru tied for the second-highest scoring report cars, with scores of 76. Subaru earned praised for sporting models like the BRZ, which CR testers apparently had a lot of fun driving (naturally), while the Mazda products were lauded for their blend of practicality, sportiness and efficiency. Both of the Japanese brands offered good handling, fuel economy and versatility, said Consumer Reports.

Subaru WRX STI prototype spied in motion

Thu, 18 Apr 2013

Earlier this week, we got all hot and bothered over a set of spy photos showing the next-generation Subaru WRX STI testing at the Nürburgring. And while pretty still shots of a camouflaged car are always nice to look at, stirring up lots of speculation, having video is even better. Good thing, then, that our trusty spies were on hand to get some rolling footage of that STI as it lapped the infamous German track.
Now, as a good majority of the comments on our previous post will point out, it looks like Subaru has dumbed down the design of that decidedly hot WRX Concept from New York for the road-going car. Of course, we need to wait until all that swirly paper is pulled off the body, but from what we can see here, it looks like this new 'Rex will be more akin to the current Impreza than we were originally led to believe.
So while we wait and hope that what's under the camouflage will be something sexy, have a look at the video below to watch the WRX STI prototype get worked out on the 'Ring.

Subaru to stop building Camry for Toyota in the US

Fri, 09 May 2014

It was back in 2007 that Subaru of Indiana Automotive, under contract from Subaru minority shareholder Toyota, built the first Toyota Camry at its plant in Lafayette, Indiana. Rumblings of the end of that contract work have been around for a while, as Subaru talked of expanding capacity to build more units and add a line for the Impreza, and Toyota talked of moving Camry production to its Georgetown, KY plant. The news was official internally last November when SIA Executive Vice President Tom Easterday told the Louisville Courier-Journal that Camry production would end. Now, Automotive News reports that both automakers have admitted publicly that the end will come in 2016.
SIA currently has a 170,000-unit capacity devoted to the home-brand Legacy and Outback models, while a $400-million expansion increases that to 300,000 units to prepare the facility for Impreza production in two years. Freeing up the 100,000 units of production devoted to the Camry means a 400,000-unit capability, which is far more than Subaru needs at the moment, but the Toyota exit will allow it to expand any way it sees fit. Subaru has said it will absorb the workers on the Camry line and no jobs will be lost, the mayor of Lafayette saying the development could change the timetable for the expansion.
