I have a 2008 scion xd in very good condition. the vehicle is used for a commute to work every morning 20 miles up and back. the miles on the car are all highway miles. the oil has been changed every 3000 miles and sometimes sooner. the vehicle runs out good and never has failed me no matter what the weather. this vehicle I would not hesitate to drive anywhere. the car has its normal road chips and scratches for a 5 year old car, but still looks brand new. the only reason why I am getting rid of the car is that I am moving and will not need to commute any longer. the car has ps, pb, cold ac, automatic, cruise control, am fm c/d with mp3 and I phone hook up, power locks, electric windows, front wheel drive, fold down rear seat, hatch back, tires have good tread. the only flaw this car has is the previous owner didn't change out the passenger windshield wiper soon enough and scratched the windshield, but it doesn't block any vision by the driver or passenger. the mileage will change due to driving it still 83,500 to 84,000. only serious inquires please, no low ballers. this car is not a piece of junk and is a real gas saver. this vehicle is being sold as is with no warranties.

Scion to offer redesigned xB for 2015, FR-S sedan in 2016?
Mon, 21 Oct 2013The future of the Scion brand remains up in the air, with a report from a few weeks back that Toyota dealers with attached Scion franchises could drop the youth-minded brand without penalty, rarely a good sign. That report was contrasted, though, with a story out of Australia that claimed we'd see a four-door sedan based on the splendid FR-S's overseas sibling, the Toyota GT 86. Now, we're hearing that a revised xB, Scion's formerly lovable toaster, is on the way. What gives?
As for the new xB, the news comes from our friends at Edmunds, which cites an unnamed source, who claims a new box-on-wheels should arrive in 2015 as part of potentially larger push for the Japanese sub-brand. Aside from the original xB, which enjoys a strong cult following, and the FR-S, Scion has had fewer home runs than Prince Fielder's post-season.
"In the next two calendar years, we will have a blend of both upgrades to the products we have in the market and at least one new model," according to Scion's vice president, Doug Murtha, who spoke to Edmunds via phone.

Let me tell you about a man named Larry. Larry works for a company called STI Fleet Services, one of a few companies that are responsible for the cleaning, prepping, maintaining, scheduling, delivering and picking up of the cars we test on a weekly basis, not to mention a whole slew of other duties. STI and its competitors are the silent heroes of this whole automotive journalism biz. Larry is one of the guys responsible for a lot of the grunt work - he's been delivering cars to me for nearly seven years now, and because of that, we've developed a bit of a rapport. Now that I think about it, my history with Larry goes back farther than several of my friendships, as well as every romantic relationship I've ever had... combined.
With that much history behind us, Larry knows my taste in cars pretty well. And even though he doesn't voice his own opinions about what's being delivered to me, Larry silently knows when he's about to hand me keys to something truly special. When Larry arrived at my door with a bright red 2013 Scion FR-S, I tried to play it cool. But Larry knows me better than that.
Toyota GT86 GT4 racer is ready for UK competition
Tue, 05 Feb 2013It's about time we saw someone cook up a legitimate race version of the delectable Toyota GT86, and now it looks as if GPRM has done just that. The Buckingham-based race engineering team has built the creation you see here, complete with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, direct-injection four-cylinder boxer cooked up by Nicholson McLaren Engines. The team says the new mill delivers between 360 and 400 horsepower to the rear wheels depending on final testing, which is a sight bit more than the 197 horses the naturally aspirated stock mill offers.
The car will compete in GT4 events, including the Avon Tyres British GT Championship. Technically, the GPRM effort isn't factory backed, but the team says the effort "has the blessing of Toyota Great Britain." How could it not?
