This is a silver 1999 Saturn SC1 2-Door Coupe. It has 131,639 miles on it. This is a good looking and terrific running Saturn coupe with a automatic transmission that is in great shape. It passes with flying colors mechanically as the small four-cylinder pulls strong and doesn’t show any leaks, the automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the brakes and suspension are perfect and exhaust is quiet. No leaks from behind and no warning lights on the dash to be worried about. If I covered up the odometer and took you for a drive and told you that this car had 60k on it you would believe me, by the way it drives. Reliable Economical transportation.

The interior of this silver coupe is very nice with cloth seats that don’t show any rips, burns, or stains, healthy carpets without any marks, the headliner is clean and tight to the roof and the dash is in perfect shape. A knob on the stereo unit is missing but function just fine and it’s a comfortable one to drive. This one was certainly never smoked in and didn’t have any pet companions along for the ride as it is clean and odor-free.

The body of the car is nice with bright silver paint that shines like a new one, no major dents or rust to be found, and just some small paint chips on the bumpers that are worthy of disclosing.. GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.

When the deal to sell Saturn to Penske Automotive fell through, there were likely a lot of surprised people at General Motors' Detroit, MI headquarters. Penske released a statement saying that the reason the deal fell through after months of good faith negotiations was that a suitable post-GM supply of vehicles could not be found. However, after reacquainting ourselves with over eight minutes of outtakes from Jim Gaffigan's old Saturn commercial, we're thinking the comedic pitchman is to blame.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
