2006 Saab 9-3 Aero 2.8L V6. Automatic. This car runs and drives great, it has been sitting around for the past 6 months because I was using it as a back up car, but havent driven since. The car just hit 97,000 miles, mostly highway. The tires and rims are in great shape, tires have 80% tread on them, and rims are in great shape. It has a dual exhaust. The exterior of the car has no dents, this car has never been in an accident. Clean title. Paint is in good condition, some minor peeling around the front windows, and the bumper lip has a couple spots. AC works great, it was just filled today, it is ready for the hot summer days. I had the car taken to Pep boys, and they recommended to get O2 sensor changed and front rotors. Also it needs 1 HID light replaced. All this due to the car standing around without being driven. Car has fog lights, and rear fog lights. The interior is a 2 tone black and white leather in good shape, there are several scuffs on the seats in the back and front. Car has park assist when parking in reverse. The car is $6,200 for good condition and $7,200 for very good on kelly blue book. I am the second owner, I had this car since 2010.
The car is local pick up, or you schedule a delivery. I usually go through uship.com On Jun-10-14 at 20:45:02 PDT, seller added the following information: I will need $500 deposit within 48 hours Make sure to read the whole description, it does need the rotors and the o2 sensor, because the car has trouble shifting when the gas pedal is being floored. Also HID bulb needs to be replaced on left side. For more questions please email me. Car is getting picked up in area code 17339 |

GM wins appeal, dismissal of $3B Saab-related Spyker suit
Sun, Oct 26 2014It's been a long time since we last heard of the legal battles between Spyker CEO Victor Muller and General Motors, the automaker from which Muller's company purchased the embattled Saab brand back in 2010. To refresh your memories, after struggling through 2011 and entering into bankruptcy, Spyker attempted to save the Saab brand by selling it to a Chinese consortium. General Motors, though, blocked the sale because it did not want any of its intellectual property, of which Saab was in possession of from its days under the GM umbrella, in the hands of a potential rival automaker. Spyker then sued GM for intentionally blocking what it said was Saab's only chance of survival. The $3-billion suit was dismissed after a judge ruled in favor of GM, which apparently had granted a license to Saab to continue building cars using its technologies, but reserved the right to cancel that agreement if Saab again changed hands. Spyker appealed, and, according to Reuters, the appeals court upheld the previous ruling, again siding with GM. National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the company that eventually purchased Saab out of bankruptcy, managed to restart production for a short period before itself falling into financial trouble. We have at least another month to wait before hearing how Saab's next chapter may read.
Court extends Saab reorganization bid until end of November
Fri, 10 Oct 2014Saab parent company National Electric Vehicle Sweden refuses to go down without a fight. After a recent trip to court, the company is emerging with an extension on its reorganization until November 29. According to Europe Online Magazine, there's also an appointed committee of creditors and union representatives to monitor NEVS' restructuring process.
NEVS still isn't giving up hope of saving itself, and the company claims there are has two potential strategies for getting back on its feet. The main plan is to "finalize the negotiations with the two Asian automotive manufacturers," according to a press release. Those firms still aren't identified, but Mahindra may be involved. According to Europe Online Magazine, one of the businesses is looking to take partial ownership of NEVS, and the other is considering some sort of cooperation with it.
If that plan fails, the second option is to take advantage of the factory and become a contract manufacturer.
Last Saab 9-3 built nets nearly $48,000 at auction
Thu, Nov 14 2019It was among the last Saabs to roll off the production line in Trollhattan, Sweden, is virtually new, and now it has a new owner. The Saab 9-3 Aero Turbo4 we told you about a month ago has sold in an auction for the equivalent of $47,789. As with anything related to the remnants of the legendary Swedish automotive brand, the backstory on this one is a little complicated, starting with the model year. Saab originally ground production to a halt in 2011. This model came about after National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) acquired the brand out of bankruptcy, and was part of a run of 420 models built starting in late 2013 before NEVS lost the rights to use the Saab name and griffin logo. It was originally set aside for crash testing, but never actually used for that purpose, and mostly sat idle inside the plant, in case NEVS restarted production of combustion vehicles. The 41 miles on the odometer came from running the car on a test track near the Trollhattan plant for photography and video purposes. It features a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that makes 217 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It has a two-tone interior with cream leather seats and a dashboard and center console that looks like what you might expect to result from Saab's parts-sharing arrangement under the ownership of bankruptcy-era General Motors. Nowadays, NEVS has financial backing from Chinese investors and is making electric vehicles based on the 9-3 platform and body, just without any Saab badging. It continues to operate the Trollhattan plant and another in Tianjin, China, and it reportedly plans a new plant in Shanghai. NEVS also has partnered with Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg in a venture to develop new EVs. The 9-3 buyer’s name is Claus Spaangaard. HeÂ’s a Danish car collector and car-repair shop owner who says he already owns two Saab cars. Proceeds from the auction will fund research into sustainable mobility in Sweden, NEVS says.
