1998 SAAB 900 SE 2.0 TURBO WITH A 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

You are bidding on a 1998 SAAB 900 SE 2.0 TUROBO WITH A LOW RESERVE  This car is a 2 owner car.  The car runs and drives great!  The exterior of the vehicle look Good too! The exterior has normal wear and tear.  There is a minor Issue on the driver rear where someone hit the tail light and was pushed in but the light is still in good shape NO CRACKS on the tail light.  The passenger side rear where body meets the bumper there is some minor rust starting. Overall the body really look nice and clean!

The Interior is very clean it has tan leather seats that all look great for the age.  The driver seat has a small tear in the leather you can see it in the pictures. It has a 6 dicks cd changer in the trunk. Has POWER EVERYTHING... The driver window has a small problem.  It wont go down I was told that its a minor fix. The window motor and switch are still good so that not the problem.  The Technician that looked at it said there is a roller inside that needs to be fixed and that it was not a big deal

Mechanically car runs and drives great! No leaks!!  All scheduled Maintenance was always done..The transmission shifts smooth. For some reason all the lights on the gauge cluster went on the other day and I don't know why but everything still work great!

Deal brokered to get Saab warranty service honored at GM dealers

Mon, 24 Dec 2012

When Pontiac, Hummer and Saturn were killed off, at least current owners never had to question where they would have to take their vehicle in case it needed to be serviced. The same couldn't be said for Saab owners... until now. General Motors and Saab Automobile Parts North America (the remaining entity of the bankrupted automaker) have signed an agreement that provides 179 service centers to current Saab owners to receive factory-trained technicians and official Saab replacement parts.
These warranty service providers will have all the tools, training and parts to maintain and repair Saab vehicles, and they will also have access to a technical assistance center for the technicians. Next year, SPNA will also set up a customer assistance center, which will likely be most useful in helping current owners find repair shows, as well as a program called Saab Secure to give added service support to owners of late model (2010 and 2011 model year) Saab vehicles. Finally, to make sure customers have a sufficient parts supply to keep their cars on the road, SPNA operates out of a 153,000 square foot warehouse in Michigan that has the ability to ship more than 3,000 parts orders per day.
GM's official press release on the agreement is posted after the jump.

Saab 900 SPG is the latest Petrolicious love story

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

The latest video from the crew at Petrolicious covers one funky Swede - a 1989 Saab 900 SPG. Produced from 1978 to 1998, the 900 enjoyed a long history, and thanks to its iconic look, it's quickly becoming a modern classic for the off-kilter car enthusiast. The SPG, short for Special Performance Group, makes this a particularly rare find, with owner Jordan Melville saying, "I didn't even realize what I had at the time."
Melville gives a rundown of his life with the 900 and his passion for Saab overall, even reflecting on that dark day that saw the Swedish brand closed its doors. As always, the videography is excellent and the story is intriguing in this latest video from Petrolicious. You can view the entire video down below.

Hot rod tractor stars in Swedish version of Farmkhana

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

The Nordic countries are known for their beautiful fjords, blonde-haired populace and bitter cold for a good portion of the year. The hours spent indoors during the dark, cold season apparently gives a lot of time for some crazy brainstorming. Tire store chain Vianor is highlighting the Traktor Terror in a new video. If Ken Block is the master of Gymkhana, then these guys know all about Farmkhana in their custom, turbocharged tractor.
According to the YouTube description from Vianor, the tractor is a 1956 Volvo BM Terrier with an added roll cage, adjustable front suspension and extended frame. The engine is thoroughly Swedish, and it's based on a Volvo 940 Turbo with a Volvo 240 head and Volvo 740 intercooler. However, it uses a Saab turbo Prospark ignition and fuel system. All told, the setup is claimed to make 225 horsepower and is capable of a top speed of 60 miles per hour.
That's not crazy power, but this tractor can certainly put it down. The farm machine has no problem smoking those big rear wheels and drifts easily.... although, it may be a tiny little bit unstable (hence the roll cage). If nothing else, this looks like the world's most fun way to be a farmer, that's for sure.
