Saab 2000 9-3 Viggen Hatchback Well Maintained, Destined To Be A Classic! on 2040-cars
Spring Hill, Florida, United States
If you are viewing this listing, you know how rare and special the SAAB 9-3 Viggen is and you appreciate the value of this listing! Beautiful silver-colored 9-3 Viggen Hatchback. Includes the additional Viggen emblem on the back, which shows that I attended the Driving Academy in Atlanta shortly after purchase.
I am the original owner of this car, I have maintained it well and it is immaculately clean. Smoke free! Title is clear. I'm only letting it go because I am not mechanically inclined and there are no specialized mechanics in this area that can give it the TLC it deserves. It has been used as the family car since I bought it in 2000, it can go like crazy but I haven't pushed it to its full capabilities because I drive it for errands and commuting. But you know when that turbo kicks in! Viggen was purchased in PA and moved with me to FL. It always felt safe driving it in snow, ice, and fog. The seat heaters kept me toasty warm and comfy. Now in FL I rely on the A/C which was recently replaced. Payment only via cash or cashier's check. The car is in Spring Hill FL and if you can get here you are welcome to test drive. You'll need to pick up from current location or arrange your own shipping after payment is received. |

Saab's latest Chinese owners facing their own credit woes
Sat, 16 Aug 2014Poor Saab, it can't seem to get a break. General Motors couldn't seem to make a go of it, neither could Spyker, and now it seems that its latest owner is encountering some problems of its own.
That owner, of course, is National Electric Vehicle Sweden, a Swedish holding company owned by Chinese investors. NEVS recently restarted production at the Saab plant in Trollhättan, Sweden, and had some ambitious plans for the brand's revival, but it appears to have run out of cash.
This according to a report in The Wall Street Journal, which discovered that NEVS is having trouble paying its suppliers. One such supplier, called Labo Test, has reportedly been owed some $22,000 by NEVS since February, and without payment, petitioned the Swedish government to place NEVS into bankruptcy proceedings. If that seems a little extreme to you over twenty-two grand, it would seem the parties agree, as the petition has reportedly since been withdrawn.
Saab's never-was 9-3 gets a few better looks
Sat, 23 Mar 2013The recent glimpses we've been getting of the never-was Saab 9-3 Phoenix must be like rubbing salt on the wounds of all the Saab fans out there. If that's the case, diehard Saab enthusiasts might want to look away from this. SaabWorld has uncovered a handful of shots of what was to be the next-generation 9-3 hatchback, and boy does it look sharp.
Revealing a clearer look at what we previously saw in grainy images or as a full-scale model, these new pictures show what Jason Castriota had in mind for the new car. The front end is obviously inspired by Saab's Phoenix Concept, while the rear of the car pays homage to the Saab 900 hatchback.
We like the overall look. Let us know what you think in the Comments.
Victor Muller to pay Sweden back taxes for Saab work
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Victor Muller, Saab's CEO from 2010 to 2011, has been ordered by the Swedish court to pay the back taxes he owes the country for his work at Saab, Autoweek and Volkskrant report. When he was the automaker's CEO he received a salary of about 8 million Swedish Krona ($1.25 million), which was recorded as a reward for consultancy work for a company in the US that Muller owns. The move allowed him to evade taxes for awhile, but the court has ordered him to pay taxes on his full salary.
Muller, who is also CEO of Spyker, and two other Saab executives were accused of accounting fraud in May, which took place in 2010 and 2011. According to reports, Muller maintains that he is not subject to taxes in Sweden.
