Hello,
What you are looking at here today is something quite special. A Rolls Royce that has NOT been owned by some "under
funded" poser, but by a wealthy, British businessman that has owned multiple Rolls Royces over his 70+ years.
We have a large handicapped van manufacturing factory in the Atlanta area and as sometimes sadly happens, one of
our good customers passes away. This customer was also a personal friend who shared the British car "addiction"
with me. This 2000 Rolls Royce Silver Seraph was, in fact his "baby". He also had a very nice Corniche convertible
that he sold just before his death but he hung onto "Eleanor" to the end. This particular car has never had any
accidents...Has never seen salt or snow...Has never had any paintwork...Has never been smoked in...Has always had
the correct synthetic oil used in it and changed as it should be. What I am telling you is that this car has had
the kind of previous ownership you would want for a "keeper" Rolls Royce. In fact, just before his death he had new
hydraulic rear suspension spheres installed on the car so it has that magic carpet ride it had from new. This car
drives, runs, stops flawlessly as it should plus it has ice cold A/C that I have experienced, in traffic on several
95+ degree Atlanta days with no over heating and NO garage floor leaks.
The Silver Seraph, as you probably know, was the last Rolls built in the Crewe factory in England where they still
build Bentleys. The fit and finish, leather and woodwork is nothing short of exquisite. I can see no blemishes on
this car either on exterior or the interior. It has the optional rear reclining seats as well as the pop out rear
bar (just under the wooden rear writing tables). These BMW V12 powered Rolls are sooo.. smooth and cruise so nicely
on the highway that it is more pleasant to drive than the V8 Rolls and Bentleys.( I say that reluctantly because I
own a Bentley Brooklands coupe with the V8). Actually, if I didn't have the Bentley already and am upside down in
it, I would certainly keep this silver Seraph for myself. Anyway....This is a really Nice car and it is very fairly
priced to sell.

2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith

Wafting In The Fastest And Most Powerful Vehicle RR Has Ever Made
It is said that Rolls-Royce co-founder Sir Henry Royce once proclaimed: "Take the best that exists and make it better: When it does not exist, design it." The second part of that quote is most curious, as the century-old automaker recently introduced an all-new Ghost-based coupe with no apparent peers - a two-door boasting a 624-horsepower, twin-turbocharged V12 with rear-wheel drive and sleek fastback styling.
Yet despite its specifications, it was never planned to be a sports coupe. Rather, the British automaker tells us that it was thoroughly engineered to be, "a car where the sense of arrival and joy of the journey are as important as the canvas upon which it is drawn." Whatever that means.

I got to see the Rolls-Royce Dawn

Fri, Jul 24 2015

It may look like a Wraith convertible, but that doesn't do this new Rolls justice. In mid-May, Rolls-Royce announced the name of its forthcoming convertible: Dawn. Two days after that news was released, I saw the new car in Beverly Hills, CA. And as you can probably guess from earlier spy shots, not to mention my choice of lead photo, it looks like a Wraith convertible. Well, sort of. Before getting a full briefing of the new Dawn, I was frisked, security guards waved handheld metal detectors around my limbs, and my iPhone was confiscated. I was left standing outside a glamorous mansion with no more than a blue notebook, a pen, a glass of champagne, and gorgeous views of the Hollywood hills and Pacific Ocean. I was told to keep my mouth shut about everything I was about to see, until further notice. So no, I can't tell you everything I know about the Rolls-Royce Dawn; the company wants to save some information for the car's official unveiling in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. I don't have photos. I don't even have a napkin sketch. Instead, I'm now allowed to tell you my impressions of the car I saw. It may look like a Wraith convertible, but that phrase alone doesn't do this new Rolls justice. Fabulous places. Shared social occasions. That's the sort of imagery Rolls-Royce wants to convey with the Dawn. In an effort to really convey this, Rolls-Royce opted to give the car a totally different name – that's why it isn't called Wraith Drophead Coupe, like the convertible version of the flagship Phantom. "'Dawn' perfectly expresses the character of the new Rolls-Royce. In its tentative, inchoate, anticipatory state, dawn is the world coming to light from the ethereal dark of the night," the company said in its original release. The Dawn name also harks back to the incredibly exclusive Silver Dawn from the 1950s, pictured above. Fabulous places and fabulous people. Shared social occasions. That's the sort of imagery Rolls-Royce wants to convey with the Dawn. After a hearing details that shall not be mentioned here (yet), I met the Dawn for the first time. The car drove up a path to the Beverly Hills mansion's courtyard, top up, modern music playing in the background. This was the first time in recent memory that a convertible was introduced with its roof affixed, but this was intentional. With the roof on, the differences between Wraith and Dawn are immediately noticeable. View 8 Photos With the roof up, the big droptop sort of looks like a hot rod.
