Ram 2500 Power Wagon on 2040-cars
Prior Lake, Minnesota, United States
|
This is a true factory built power wagon with all the luxuries of the laramie package. Hopefully, if your interested in the truck you know what the power wagon is. If Not, Please do some research and get amped about these rare trucks! Its not your average ram 2500. I bought the truck new, put 35" tires on it, added a fiberglass topper/cap with carpeted bed rug and bed ryder seats in the box. It has an auxillary 12 volt heater in the box to keep you warm if camping. All of these items are removable in minutes. The truck has front and rear locking differentials, disconnecting front sway bar, and a 12000lb winch. These are all factory options covered by warranty. The winch has not been used and the hook and controller are still in the packages. It has all the goodies inside like heated and cooled leather seats, heated steering wheel, sunroof, navigation, uconnect, trailer brakes, power rear slider, back up camera. Im probably forgetting something. I have the window sticker and books for it. Selling to build house. Please call me at 612-669-4182 if you have questions. Thank you

Auto journo learns hard way that new vehicles burn differently than old ones
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Terry Box, a writer for the Dallas Morning News, was tootling down the Dallas North Tollway in a Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn pickup after work and enjoying the ride. Box thought the $53,335, option-filled press loaner had been "flawless - very serious competition for anything built by Ford or Chevy." And then, for reasons that still aren't clear, something in the engine compartment caught fire and the Ram cremated itself on the shoulder of an off-ramp.
Box tells the story and it isn't an indictment of the truck, but a cautionary tale about how new vehicles don't burn like the old ones did - and why not to go back for your gym bag. It could also be a kind reminder about what kind of safety gear everyone should keep in their cars. Click the link to read the whole piece.
Ram confirms Fiat Ducato vans to form new Promaster series for US
Wed, 28 Nov 2012Chrysler has officially confirmed that Ram will develop an all-new large van for the US market based on the Fiat Ducato. The commercial rig will go on sale in the third quarter of next year, joining the Ram C/V on the company's professional van line. Expect to see the Promaster face off against the Ford Transit and revised Chevrolet Express.
Chrysler is pretty skimpy on details when it comes to the Promaster, but it has said the vehicle will make use of "familiar Ram Truck styling cues." The van will reportedly also bow with powertrains targeted specifically at the North American market.
Chrysler and Ram made the announcement ahead of the LA Auto Show alongside news that the company will launch a new Ram commercial truck division.
