The truck looks stunning and the body is straight.  The truck was involved in a minor accident involving the front driver side two years ago.  The truck was repaired by the Dodge dealer I purchased it from using all new factory parts.  The paint work done was to factory standards to meet the warranty requirements by Dodge for their corrosion warranty.  I have had no issues with the truck since its repair two years ago.  Below is the information the dealer reported and shows on CarFax report.  NOTE: The truck was towed to the dealer for repair as the accident bent the front left wheel.

The truck has upgraded factory 20” chrome wheels and the very clean exterior is sure to please its new owner.   All oil changes and service work has been done by the Dodge dealer where the truck was purchased.  This can be verified by the over 20 reports available through Car Fax.

Exterior condition.  There are a couple small rock chips on the windshield on the passenger side, but nothing that I fear of “spidering” out.  They have been there over a year and no change in size since.  There are few very small rock chips on the front edge of hood as well due to normal driving, but again, nothing I felt required attention.  There is a paint spill spot on the inside of the bed on the bedliner.  I never worried about it since I planned on removing the bedliner and having a spray-on liner installed.

Interior condition: The beautiful tan and dark brown leather interior is all stock and still looks like new.  It has upgraded color matched floor mats that make the interior look nice and clean (I used clear plastic floor mats over the top as not to wear out the floor mats).  Everything works in the truck; lights, gauges, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows cold etc.  All of the original books, original window sticker, and 4 key fobs included (two with auto-start option and two fobs without auto start). This is a NON SMOKER vehicle.

Mechanically: This Ram is in excellent condition and runs and drives very nice.  It has very healthy eight cylinder motor (390 horsepower and 407 pound-feet of torque) that is very strong and an automatic transmission that shifts nice and smooth.  This truck is ready to hit the street and looks good doing it!  Here is your chance to own a beautiful Dodge Ram at a fraction of its original price.  A recall on the rear differential pinion nut recently came out and I took the truck into the dealer and had this service performed on 6/24, so the Carfax report showing the recall is not updated with this information.

Kelly Blue Book Private Party price range is $29,091 to $32,691 (Fair to Excellent condition range).  I would say the truck is in Very Good Condition, which is a $31,991 value, and with the CarFax recommended price adjustment of + $1590, the recommended price is $33,581.  My reserve price is thousands $$ less than that.

Service records: The CarFax report I ran on June 12, 2014 indicates over 20 service records on file which proves and identifies all fo the regular services and maintenance that has been done on this vehicle. I have never let anyone touch the vehicle besides the dealer I bought it from.   I just had oil changed and tires rotated at 64,700 miles along with the recall work for the differential pinion nut, which was done after the CarFax report on 6/12/14.

The truck is driven daily so mileage will increase slightly during the auction listing.  I also have the truck for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for a local sale. I do have a bank loan on the vehicle so upon payment, I will need a some time for the check to clear to pay off the loan and get the title cleared to me to transfer to the new owner.  Missouri does have the owner retain the title, but it shows the bank lien.  Shouldn’t be any issues in taking care of this during days when the bank is open (Mon-Sat) as my bank is three blocks from my house.

I can email the CarFax report to anyone interested in looking at the information and service record information.

Fiat Chrysler profit up as it closes in on retiring its debt

Thu, Apr 26 2018

MILAN — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reduced its debt by more than expected in the first quarter, putting the carmaker well on course to become cash positive later this year. Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne expects to cancel all debt during 2018 — possibly by the end of June — and generate around 4 billion euros ($5 billion) in net cash by the end of the year. Marchionne has said that forecast does not include any one-off measures, nor the impact of the planned spinoff of parts maker Magneti Marelli, which he hopes to execute by early 2019. The world's seventh-largest carmaker said on Thursday net debt had fallen to 1.3 billion euros ($1.6 billion) by the end of March, well below a consensus forecast of 2.6 billion euros in a Thomson Reuters poll of analysts. FCA said capital spending fell 900 million euros in the quarter due to "program timing," which analysts said implied higher investments for the rest of the year. The Italian-American group said first-quarter operating profit rose 5 percent to 1.61 billion euros, below a consensus forecast of 1.74 billion, as a weaker performance from its North American profit center weighed. Shipments there were higher due to the new Jeep Wrangler and Compass models. But currency moves hit revenues and earnings, and costs related to new product launches added to the pressure. FCA's shift to sell more trucks and SUVs boosted margins yet again in North America to 7.4 percent from 7.3 percent in the same quarter a year ago, although they were down from the 8 percent recorded in the preceding three months. Marchionne, preparing to hand over to an internal successor next year, is close to his goal of ending a margin gap with larger U.S. rivals General Motors and Ford. The 65-year-old has said becoming debt free and being able to compete on a par with U.S. peers would mean FCA no longer needed a partner to survive and could well succeed on its own. The CEO has previously said tying up with another carmaker would help to meet the huge costs in an industry investing in electric vehicles and automated driving. FCA shares fell immediately after the results, but recovered to trade up 3 percent at 19.71 euros by 1150 GMT, outperforming a 0.4 percent rise in Europe's blue-chip stock index. 2021 Ram TRX will get new FCA 'Know & Go' app to educate owners about their truck

Sat, Sep 26 2020

FCA has developed a new app called “Know & Go,” and itÂ’s debuting with the 2021 Ram TRX. The purpose of the app is to help owners get more acquainted with and learn about their vehicle without having to dig through the ownerÂ’s manual. Instead, the app allows you to point your camera at certain things within and around the vehicle, and then it brings up information about what your camera is trained on. It uses augmented reality technology to make it work. For example, if you point the camera at the engine bay, youÂ’ll be prompted with a detailed description of the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that makes 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. 2021 Ram 1500 TRX front 3/4 in motion View 53 Photos The few photos provided by FCA show items that the app can read such as your drive mode switcher, off-road pages, paddle shifters and more. ItÂ’ll pull up sections of the ownerÂ’s manual, suggest how-to videos for certain functions and even prompt you to dive into features you might not know existed. Considering how complex and complicated modern cars can be, we imagine this has the potential to enlighten some folks about features that would otherwise go undiscovered. Of course, that also assumes the owner will actually download the app and use the AR technology correctly. FCA says the app is rolling out with functionality for the TRX initially, but says we should expect to see it on other FCA vehicles soon. ItÂ’s very likely still no replacement for reading your ownerÂ’s manual cover-to-cover, but the quick and easy access to information is still a boon in our eyes. 2021 Ram 1500 TRX interior View 21 Photos Related Video:

This or That: 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 vs. 2005 Subaru WRX STI [w/poll]

Thu, May 7 2015

Some cars, due to ultimate desirability, particular rareness, or spectacular performance/prestige eventually become collectible. It's darn near impossible to know which ones will make it into the rarefied stratosphere of collectibility – why is a late 1960s AMC AMX so affordable these days, whereas prices for late '70s Pontiac Trans Ams are soaring? – but there are some useful indicators to keep tabs on. We're not exactly experts on investing, but we do know cars. As such, we've decided to take our non-expertise on one hand, combine it in the other with our knowledge of all things automotive, wad it up, throw it out and ask for your forgiveness. Or something like that. I've challenged Senior Editor Seyth Miersma to choose a car he thinks will become a future collector's item that's not more than 10 years old, and for no more than $25,000. I've done the same, and we vigorously argued for and against each other's picks. I feel good about my choice, but I don't have the best track record in these contests (I've lost three times, won twice, but they've all been pretty close), so, while I'm not going to beg (please vote for me!), I do hope you find my argument convincing. But first, let's hear from Seyth: Miersma: Ten-years old or newer makes this challenging. At that age most vehicles feel like a plain old used car to me, few hit the "classic" button. But the Subaru WRX STI has always been a special car, and the 2005 cutoff year proves to be very attractive for the parameters of our contest. It's rare; with fewer than 5,000 STI models sold that model year. It's probably the best looking WRX STI ever sold in America; narrowly avoiding the dreadful "horse collar" front fascia. And it's got one of the more die-hard car-geek followings out there. For $25,000, you can also still find examples that have reasonable miles, are in good condition, and haven't all been molested by grown-up Initial D wannabes. With the street racers hacking up collectable examples every day, I like my odds for steep appreciation by way of conservation. I couldn't agree more. It really is difficult to predict what cars will catch the eye of collectors, and the WRX STI seems like a pretty good choice. But I think mine is even better, and I can't let him know that I'd love to park just such an STI in my very own garage. And so goes my argument: Korzeniewski: I like your choice as a driver, Seyth. I'm less convinced of its status as a sure-fire collectible.
