We purchased this Truck to put Veterans to work in the Bakken Oil Fields.  We discovered that line of business was not as viable due to new regulatory rules.  We regrouped and decided to focus on our core business - placing Veterans at work in the Bakken Oil Fields.  We quickly came to the conclusion we no longer need this 1 ton Truck to haul a gooseneck trailer.

Which is a real shame as this Truck is fun to drive!  It has amazing power and passes every other truck going up the steep hills on either side of the Missouri River at T. Roosevelt National Park.

We have owned a F350 with the 7.3L engine and loved it.  But I have to admit this Cummins is better.

We have only driven this truck ~5,700 miles*

It is virtually new.

You simply cannot go wrong with this truck as it has the Dodge-Ram factory extended warranty for 100,000 miles.  To get this $57,000 MSRP truck for less than $45,000 is the bargain of the year.

WHY BUYING THIS TRUCK MATTERS:

We are selling this to fund our primary mission:  Put 5,000 Veterans to work in the next 5 years.  By purchasing this YOU will get an amazing deal AND will help us help thousands of Veterans who want to work.

1. You will win because you purchased an amazing vehicle at a steep discount to MSRP
(with all options and additions MSRP was ~ $57,000 at time of purchase)

2. The thousands of Veterans we will help work in The Bakken will win.

The funds we gain from selling this fine Truck will help us with expenses like advertising, software, improving our website, etc.  Your purchase of this Truck will directly help us help them.

It will help us put Vietnam-era Marines like R.D. to work so he can retire with peace of mind.

It will help us make sure Airman E.B.'s family has a "better Christmas than last year" because he could not afford a tree - much less presents or more than Mac'N-Cheese for dinner.

Veteran unemployment is 46% higher than the rest of the population and the ONLY place that seems to be 'working' is America's energy sector.

This is a true Win-Win situation.

Thank you for looking.  Thank you for helping us help America's finest.

*We will continue to drive it until sold so the actual odometer reading will vary.  However, we are only using it go in/out of Williston and occasionally to Watford City.  And it will not be driven at all this week since I am home in MT for a week with my Family.

# Note:  our vinyl graphics will come off and leave no residue.  We'd love it if you drove it around your home town and advertised for us … but we suspect you'd rather
have it sans graphics.  We recommend taking it to your local signage or auto detail shop and they can remove them easily.

* This is for sale locally.  We reserve the right to end this auction if someone purchases it locally for the buy-it-now price.

Is Ram bringing a trick tailgate to the Chicago Auto Show?

Mon, Feb 4 2019

Last week featured running jokes and mirth on truck Twitter. It started when the GMC account played off the Super Bowl, posting a short video that started with the caption, "The Rams already lost." Then came a picture of a current Ram tailgate, followed by a short pictorial demonstration of the six-function MultiPro tailgate available on the GMC Sierra (pictured). Ram responded with a pigskin play of its own, calling GMC out for a false start and requesting everyone "Check back with us on 2/7/19." That is the first media day of the Chicago Auto Show. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The easy inference is that Ram has plans to reveal a clever tailgate of its own. The easy question is, will it be the split tailgate we first saw in a patent application in 2014, then in spy photos in 2017? That patent application detailed a gate split down the middle, with a traditional handle on the left-side door. The entire unit could open like a standard tailgate, or, each half could fold down like a tailgate as well as swing out like a door. The Honda Ridgeline has a similar option, but not being split, the Ridgeline's whole tailgate swings out like a door. Another novel feature of the Ram patent application was that the doors could be operated with a touchpad. When spy photographers caught a 2020 Ram prototype in Detroit with a split tailgate, the split was no longer 50/50, but about 65/35. After snapping the silver truck that day, the split tailgate was never seen again. Thursday in Chicago might be the day that changes, since it's fair to expect Ram to show something that will get the 1500 current with proliferating tailgate trickery. GMC and Ram weren't finished, though. The Ram 1500 won the Motor Trend Truck of the Year award at the Detroit Auto Show, and two hours after GMC's first tweet, GMC got around to sending this bit of congratulations: This content is hosted by a third party. Ram forced to build and hold 1500 Classic trucks due to chip shortage

Sun, Mar 21 2021

DETROIT — The impact of the global semiconductor shortage on the auto industry spread on Saturday, as Stellantis warned its highly profitable pickup trucks were hit, while Ford said it would cut more U.S. production. Stellantis, the world's fourth largest automaker, said it will build and hold for final assembly its Ram 1500 Classic trucks at its Warren, Michigan, and Saltillo, Mexico, assembly plants. When chips become available, the vehicles will be completed and shipped to dealers. The action will last "a number of weeks," a Stellantis spokeswoman said, declining to reveal how many trucks would be affected. The chip shortage, which has hit automakers globally, stems from a confluence of factors. Carmakers shut North American plants for two months during the COVID-19 pandemic last year and canceled chip orders. Meanwhile, demand for chips surged from the consumer electronics industry as people worked from home and played video games. Now carmakers must compete for chips. Carmakers have repeatedly said they will prioritize chips for their most profitable vehicles, but the impact on the Ram, as well as previous reports by Ford and General Motors of lost or impacted production of their full-size trucks, shows the shortage is hitting companies where it hurts. Stellantis Chief Executive Carlos Tavares said earlier this month the problems might not be fully resolved by the second half of 2021, as some auto rivals have flagged, describing supplies as the "big unknown" for revenues in 2021. Ford said Saturday it will idle its Ohio assembly plant next week, while its Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville will only work two of three shifts. Both plants will return to full production the week of March 29. The U.S. automaker said the latest action is part of a prior forecast it made that the shortage could hit 2021 profits by $1 billion to $2.5 billion. On Thursday, Ford said it would assemble its flagship, highly profitable F-150 pickup truck as well as Edge SUVs in North America without certain parts and then hold them "for a number of weeks" until they can be completed and shipped, affecting "thousands" of vehicles. It also said it would idle production at plants in Louisville, Kentucky, and Cologne, Germany. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman shows off its simple lights

Tue, Jan 9 2018

Each time a spy photographer has caught the 2019 Ram 1500 pickup running around, it's always had the same style of lights and grilles. This time, one of our photographers caught two Rams that have noticeably different versions of those body parts. The first one shown above has the same grille we've already seen. The difference is that the flashy LED-accented headlights are gone. Instead, it uses much simpler, more conventional reflector-style headlights. That doesn't mean Ram hasn't taken the time to give them a little flair, though. The lamps are divided such that the upper element lines up with the upper portion of the grille, and the lower portion with the grille bars and lower opening. The taillights are much simpler, too, also using a reflector setup and very clear lenses. These plain headlights lead us to believe that this is a base-model 1500 Tradesman. The second Ram shown has its lights well-covered, but the grille is exposed, and it's also different from past prototypes. It has a wavy mesh pattern in the grille openings rather than slats. The crossbar design remains, though. This different grille also confirms that Ram will offer appearance variations to distinguish models. We're not sure if this is a higher-level or lower-level trim, though. We would have a better idea if we could see the lights. All our questions should be answered soon, since the new Ram 1500 will be fully revealed next week at the Detroit Auto Show. Then we'll see all the grilles and headlights and their associated trims as they were meant to be. Related Video:
