2015 Ram 2500 on 2040-cars
Romance, Arkansas, United States
More details at: scottsccovitt@ukcharities.com .
Here is my 2015 Ram 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 with the 6.7 Cummins. Truck only has 14,767 miles on it. This is the
tradesman edition however I have added several accessories to help dress it up. Dealer installed: chrome step ups,
cab lights, spray in bedliner, bushwacker fender flares, chrome bug shield, chrome exhaust tip, chrome door handles
and mud flaps. Truck also has a fifth wheel hitch.
I purchased this truck in March of 2015 from Landers Dodge in Benton, Arkansas. This was my first new truck. I had
planned on keeping this truck for many years. The truck is very strong and gets great fuel economy and looks good.
It was purchased to pull my 26 foot three stall horse trailer. It only pulled the trailer with 3 horses in it
twice. The other times were just my two horses. With just two horses in it, the combined weight of this trailer
is around 7,000 and with three horses, approximately 8000 pounds. This is the heaviest load this truck has ever
pulled. The truck also pulled a 7000 pound camper about 20 miles. Truck has never been off road or never in mud.
The closest thing to mud this truck has even seen was when I hauled some hay with the truck and the horse pasture
was a little wet. It was washed right after. I have driven the truck to Texas twice and twice to Branson,
Missouri, both trips were made not pulling anything. Each trip, the truck averaged between 22-23 mpg.
Cosmetically this truck is perfect except for the front hood. On June 6, 2015, I was travelling down the
interstate when the guy in front of me ran over a 2x4 and it came up and hit my hood. It did approximately $400 in
damage. (see pics) That is the only damage to the vehicle. There are NO door dings or dents or sratches on any
other part of the truck that I have seen. Im always very careful where I park my truck.
When the truck had 6500 miles on it, I took it back to the dealer to have the break in oil changed and tires
rotated and the fuel filters changed. These trucks have 2 fuel filters. They changed the oil and rotated the tires
however the mechanic told me I was wasting my money if I replaced the filters this early. He said its not needed
till 15k miles. So it will need the two fuel filters replaced soon. The first oil change was not recommended
until 15k miles as well but I strongly believe in changing the oil the first time early.
The interior has no rips, tears, stains, etc. It still smells new. All glass is 100 percent. I have bought
several vehicles online including one just two months ago. I bought a 2002 GMC 2500 4X4 to replace this truck.
That truck was more scratched up in the person than what the pictures showed the vehicles to look like so I
understand buying a vehicle online. If you need a certain picture of any part of the truck please let me know.

FCA CEO Mike Manley will take undefined new role after PSA merger
Wed, Dec 18 2019MILAN — Fiat Chrysler Chief Executive Mike Manley will remain with the new group set to result from a planned merger with French rival PSA-Peugeot, Chairman John Elkann said on Wednesday. In a letter to Fiat Chrysler (FCA) employees on the day the two companies announced a binding agreement for a $50 billion tie-up to create the world's fourth-largest carmaker, Elkann said he was "delighted" that the combined group would be led by current PSA CEO Carlos Tavares. "And Mike Manley, who has led FCA with huge energy, commitment and success over the past year, will be there alongside him," he said. He did not say what position Manley would hold. Elkann — who will chair the new group — said there was still much to be done to complete the merger. "Over the coming months we must work tirelessly and determinedly to fulfill all the approval requirements needed to finalize the commitment we have signed," he said. Ram 700 by Fiat may be the small truck we've been waiting for
Sat, 01 Nov 2014It seems like auto buyers throughout the whole world outside of the United States and Canada have a plethora of small pickups to choose from to fit their needs. In fact, there's one just south of the border that might be perfect for many American consumers - the 2015 Ram 700.
The little, front-wheel-drive pickup is a badge-engineered version of the Fiat Strada, which is also sold in Mexico. The powertrain is limited to a 1.6-liter four-cylinder making 115 horsepower and 119 pound-feet of torque with a five-speed manual gearbox. However, buyers can choose between either a two-door, two-passenger body or a three-door, four-person version (pictured above and right) that's also available with a locking front differential. While the 700 isn't big, the two-door version still offers a cargo capacity of up to 1,554 pounds, and opting for the three-door still allows for 1,433 pounds of goods.
Prices for these little trucks aren't bad either. The two-door is priced at 182,900 Mexican pesos ($13,576 at current rates), while 241,900 pesos ($17,955) gets customers the three-door.
Ram recalling 131,000 heavy duty trucks over fire hazard
Mon, Oct 25 2021For a little over a year, Ram has been investigating an issue with a number of heavy duty trucks from the 2021 model year that have experienced engine bay fires. For some reason, even when the engine is off, the solid-state intake heater relay in Ram trucks fitted with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel can suffer a short and catch fire. In March of this year, the company planned to recall about 20,000 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada when it thought the problem was limited to trucks with unprotected relays. In May, Ram discovered the issue occurring even in trucks with protected relays. Now Ram is preparing to recall 131,177 trucks from the 2021 and 2022 model years. The models in question are: 2021-2022 Ram 2500 (DJ) pickups built between August 3, 2020 and October 8, 2021 (67,597 units) 2021-2022 Ram 3500 (D2) pickups built between August 5, 2020 and October 8, 2021 (39,324 units) 2021-2022 Ram 3500 Chassis Cabs (DD) built between August 12, 2020 and October 7, 2021 (7,317 units) 2021-2022 Ram 4500/5500 (DP) Chassis Cabs built between November 13, 2020 and October 8, 2021 (16,939 units) Ram says it is aware of about 10 engine bay fires, but no accidents nor injuries due to the fires. The bigger issue for now is that Fiat Chrysler engineers working with the component supplier still haven't been able to find a root cause for the fires. Until they can nail down a cause, Ram recommends parking affected models outside, away from structures and other vehicles.  The pickup maker expects to begin mailing letters to owners on December 3, the same day it informs dealers of the fix for the issue. Owners with questions can call the Stellantis customer service line at 1-800-853-1403, the automaker's internal code for the recall being Y76. Or they can contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153). Or go to www.nhtsa.gov. The NHTSA campaign number is 21V798 Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
