This is a recently dealer-purchased Cayman. Mileage is at present 50,800. Black on black leather -Appears as new, phenomenal condition both inside and out. People routinely think this car is brand new. -GT3RS shift knob/boot in alcantara (manual transmission) -Steering wheel in alcantara -Euro clear sidemarkers (Porsche OEM parts) -Heated, partially electric seats -"Sound Package Plus"- uprated speakers, includes rear speakers not on base level trim -All service completed through dealerships- Porsche-spec'd Major service done at 42xxx, oil changes at 46 and again at 49000 immediately prior to my purchase. This car was located in Florida at Brumos Porsche until 2013, so no salt- undercarriage/chassis are pristine. No service needed until 60k miles (minor service), 10k mile factory-recommended oil change interval (would recommend 5-6k changes) -18" Cayman S 5-spoke wheels, wrapped in new (49xxx miles installed) Michelin Pilot Sport rubber. 235mm front, 265mm rear. The best, and very pricey, tires. NO curb rash on the wheels whatsoever, even the inner barrels are clean This car has been babied in the short time I've owned it. This is not only the best car I've ever owned, but the best car I've ever driven. Nothing can compare to the feeling of driving a mid-engined Porsche. This car has all the options you need, and none you don't, such as outdated nav systems. The fresh Michelin tires alone, which bring out the best in this car's handling characteristics, are worth over $1000! Mark Webber treats Maria Sharapova to a Porsche 918 Spyder joyride
Tue, 29 Apr 2014We don't much like Mark Webber right now. Part of being a racing driver is dealing with promotional stuff. It's not hard to find a driver that can't stand all this nonsense, whether it be promoting a product, meeting investors or attending some obscure event. Even a driver of Webber's caliber - a former Formula One driver for Red Bull Racing and a member of Porsche's factory Le Mans team - has to serve his time at the promo events.
Somehow, though, we don't think the Aussie driver minds this particular promo detail. In the video below, Webber attends the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. He then takes tennis superstar Maria Sharapova out for a spin behind the wheel of the Porsche 918 Spyder. The level of jealousy at the Autoblog office is palpable.

Porsche wants you to 3D print your own Cayman
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Have you got access to a 3D printer? Well lucky you, because as we're rapidly learning, the possibilities are virtually endless. And if your tastes lean towards the automotive (as we'd assume they do if you're reading this page), we've got good news.
Porsche has just released 3D printing data for the Cayman S so you can three-dimensionally print out your own and customize to your heart's content. Now Porsche hasn't specified just to what scale the data will allow you to print your Cayman, but we have a feeling that'd mostly be limited by the size of the printer at your disposal.
