I am a 10 year eBay member with 100% positive feedback. We are selling my wifes gorgeous 2008 Porsche Cayenne S. It is in amazing condition cosmetically and mechanically. We are only selling it as we have ordered a Tesla to replace it. The Cayenne S is in excellent exterior condition. No door dings, curb rash, paint work, etc. I would rate it 9/10. The interior is great and shows a few signs of wear but overall looks very very good for a 2008. I would rate it 8/10. I have 93 pictures and a video of the care linked below if youd like to see more. This is not a basic Cayenne S. It is fully loaded with the following options:- Carmona Red paid ($690)- Havana Sand leather with soft look leather option ($395)- Gloss Light Wood Package ($1,385)- 19 Cayenne Design Wheels ($1,200)- Preferred Package Plus ($8,490)- Comfort Seats w/memory ($930)- Light Comfort Package w/memory ($610)- Havana Sand floor mats ($140)- Bi-Xenon headlights with Washers- PCM 2.1 w/Navigation - Trailer Hitch- Colored crest center caps- Moonroof- Ski bag- Bose Surround Sound with 6 disk changer - Power LiftgateTotal MSRP was $72,635 (original window sticker is included)As a five time Porsche owner, I understand the importance of keeping up to date on all maintenance. We did not intend on selling this car (we thought we would drive it forever) so I spent over $7,000 earlier this year on the following:- New tires and alignment 7,000 miles ago- Replaced: oil (Mobil 1) and filter, thermostat, coolant, oil separator, serpentine belt, O2 sensors, fuel pump, stopper clutch and breather hose, cabin air filter, engine torque damper, hydraulic engine mounts, vacuum pump, front and rear wipers, gas cap, vacuum line, A/C blower motor, parking brake release gas spring and more!Mechanically this Cayenne is in phenomenal condition and needs nothing that I know of. The only issue is we lost the second key, so it only comes with one. The only modification I have done is replace the Cayenne S badge with an oem P O R S C H E badge (the original is included).

Porsche Cayenne, Panamera production halted by flooding

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

If you recently ordered a Porsche Cayenne or a Panamera, delivery may take a little longer than originally expected. Automotive News reports that production of both models has been temporarily halted at the Porsche assembly plant in Leipzig, Germany as the result of supply shortages caused by flooding in the nearby Czech Republic. The reason for the stoppage is that the body of the Cayenne - currently Porsche's best-selling model - is produced at a Volkswagen plant in the Czech city of Bratislava and shipped by train to Leipzig.
The report does not indicate why Panamera production has been stopped - that the five-door's body is made at a separate location in Hanover, Germany. However pre-assembly will continue on these models. At full capacity, the Leipzig plant can produce about 450 vehicles per day, and it isn't clear how long this weather-related stoppage will last.

There's a Porsche Cayman under here somewhere

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What we have here is the work of Dubai tuner Royal Customs that is controversial even beyond its styling. The Middle East aftermarket house says it spent fourteen months developing a bodykit for the Porsche Cayman, and the results seem to be aimed at those who wish their coupe were a 918 Spyder - the nose, strake-filled and widened rear fender, carbon fiber wing and massive diffuser all cribbing some from Stuttgart's new hybrid supercar.
Even without a buyer, the Alpha One Concept is already controversial. When WorldCarFans posted on the Royal Customs car recently, German tuner Alpha-N Performance wrote in alleging that the Dubai package copies their design from two years ago, which was also called the Alpha One, a design with which it's clear the Dubai Alpha One shares numerous cues. We asked Royal Customs about its relationship to the Alpha One car, we were told, "Yes, there is a lot we can say about the remarkable similarities all of which will be explained by our press release by Mr. Emil from Autogespot. Please wait for the official release and you will have the full exciting story. It's an 'actual success story' and not a 'replication' story."
The response is referring to an "extensive report" on the car coming out of Autogespot. Royal Customs doesn't have the Alpha One Concept on its site yet, so we're still missing quite a few details on it, such as whether the Porsche engine has been given a similarly 918-ish workover. We do know that the company says each car takes 30 days to build and it will only build three of them, which is a number that should satisfy any haters and, even more so, its buyers. You can decide which side of the fence you're on by having a close look at it in the gallery above.

Modded budget Mazda Miata takes on new Porsche Boxster in more challenges

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

Earlier this month, our friends across the pond at Auto Express released the first in a two-video series that would see them try and build up a second-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata that could best a standard Porsche Boxster around the track. While that first video detailed the mods to the MX-5 - a supercharger, some suspension upgrades and a new set of super-sticky rubber being chief among them - and set baseline lap times for the stock car, today, we have the results of the 5,000-pound ($8,200) upgrade job.
Of course, we aren't going to spoil those for you. You'll need to watch the full video, which recaps the upgrades before digging into a comparison of both straight-line-speed differences between the 2.7-liter Porsche Boxster and blown Miata, as well as their behavior and lap times on the track.
Take a look and let us know what you think in Comments.
