Porsche Touch Up Paint Kit This car has just been fully detailed utilizing the Pinnacle Paint System. The convertible top was just coated with a Porsche Convertible Top Moisture Repellant. A service was completed at the local Porsche dealer 250 miles ago. (4) brand new 19 inch Bridgestone Potenza tires were installed 1,000 miles ago and still show the manufacturer 'paint dots' on the sidewalls. (2) brand new black Porsche floor mats were just installed. The front bumper cover was just professionally painted to rid any road rash. The Basalt Black Metallic paint is in superior condition, to say the least. It is supremely glossy and shines in every light! This Boxster is a head turner, everywhere I go! The metallic flecks in the paint and the bright red brake calipers truly set it apart. There are zero flaws on the body of this accident - free car, with the exception of a few minor stone chips that have been touched up. There are no door dings, dents, scrapes or gashes to be found. The convertible top is in immaculate condition, with no rips, tears or fading. The headlamps are not 'milky', whatsoever. The lenses glisten, just like the paint. The glass is in superior condition. The front and rear bumpers are free of any scuffs or scrapes. The rims are in flawless condition, with zero curb rash. The interior is absolutely amazing! The leather on the seats is flawless, and shows no signs of wear. The carpet is like new. The steering wheel and steering column are like new. The underside of the convertible top looks showroom new. The door panels and dashboard plastic are flawless. The gauges are flawless. The only minor flaws on the interior of this car are a few chips on the painted plastic surfaces (mostly on the one left of the upper part of the driver seat where the seat belt hits). It is hard to believe this car is a 2006 model. I would have to say it is one of the nicest 2006 Porsche Boxsters on the road... My Boxster rides and drives very solid. There are no vibrations, noises, or rattles. The Tiptronic transmission is amazing, and is so much fun to utilize while driving. The suspension is tight and does exactly what it should. This car is quick and agile, to say the least! It has been well maintained, in every aspect, and it shows! Feel free to contact me with any questions. Also, I welcome any inspections of the vehicle. The condition will not disappoint! I buy and sell quite a few cars over the course of a year. However, I am not a dealer. I am, however, a car fanatic and a licensed master detailer. This is my very first attempt at listing an automobile on EBAY. |

Watch MotorWeek review the last great air-cooled Porsche 911
Thu, Apr 28 2016These days air-cooled Porsche prices are blasting through the roof, and the 993 gets much of that love among collectors as the last generation before the 911's switch to water-cooled design. MotorWeek's latest Retro Review now looks back at the 1996 911 Targa. The coupe came from a brief period when the 911s were the only models in the brand's lineup, but the company made sure those cars were perfect. The point of Porsche's Targa models is to combine the open-air driving of a convertible with a security of a coupe. In this case, the engineers came up with a massive glass panel that slid into the roof at the touch of a button. The design still allowed for rearward visibility but created a giant opening to allow the sunshine in. The solution isn't as awe-inspiring to watch as the Transformer-like metamorphosis of the latest 911 Targa, but it gets the job done in a very unobtrusive way. As air-cooled values continue to creep upward, it's fascinating to hear how contemporary reviewers critique the cars. In this case, the 993 lives up to the promise of being the ultimate evolution of the original idea behind the 911. MotorWeek even calls the coupe "simply one of the best road cars ever made." Check out the video to find out why. Related Video:
Porsche spotted testing next 911 GT3 in its natural habitat
Wed, Mar 16 2016Want a Porsche 911 GT3? Well too bad, because they're all sold out – and from what we hear, they have been for a while. But don't worry, there'll be another one coming soon. And here's our first look at it. Based on the updated 991, the new GT3 may be one of the few variations on the theme that won't be going turbocharged. It may, however, get a three-pedal manual transmission – possibly the six-speed from the 911 R as opposed to the seven from the Carrera. That is, at least, if the tinkerers in Weissach perk up their ears and listen to what their most enthusiastic customers have been saying. Because while the dual-clutch PDK may be faster, the GT3 has traditionally been as much about the driving experience as it has about outright pace. As it's mostly wearing the bodywork of the outgoing GT3, there's unfortunately little to be seen from this prototype spotted testing at the Nurburgring in one of the first (mostly) thawed test sessions of the season. But you can expect the new model to blend elements from the old GT3 with the revisions made to the new 911. And with it, expect a bit more power and a bit more performance from the latest iteration of a driving enthusiasts' favorite. We're told to expect the new 911 GT3 to hit dealers some time next year. There may or may not be a GT3 RS to follow, but from what we've seen, there ought to be an even faster GT2 RS entering the mix before long as well.
Petrolicious profiles a Porsche 911 hot rod called The Growler
Wed, Aug 5 2015Petrolicious always does a superb job of showcasing fantastic vehicles and their owners. While some of its videos might go a little too far into the personal stories rather than putting the cars on the road for some people's tastes, this latest one is an absolute feast for the senses. The vehicle featured is called "The Growler," and this Porsche 911 hot rod assaults its driver with a wall of sound. The coupe maintains only the tiniest amount of on-road civility to still be regularly usable. Boasting a roll cage and a set of racing buckets inside, The Growler certainly looks all business. An engine tune, suspension upgrade, and 400 pounds of removed weight are enough to turn this 964-chassis 911 into something really sublime behind the wheel, too. As the first air-cooled car for owner Alex Bermudez, he's definitely starting near the top. Filmed on some misty canyon roads, the white coupe roars around sounding more like a racecar than anything road legal, and Petrolicious perfectly captures the this Porsche as it's flung around the narrow path. You can see the rear end just begin to step out before Bermudez catches it. Inside, each shift looks like the movement of a rifle bolt to shoot the car forward. Listening to the engine build revs might be the best thing you hear today, so stop what you're doing and take a listen. Related Video:
