For sale is my much loved 2014 Porsche Boxster finished in Guards Red on Sand Beige. I custom ordered this car from Porsche of Huntington and received it in December of 2013. This was a Stuggart built car. There have been zero incidents whatsoever and thus the car of course has a totally clean vehicle histroy. Vin #WP0CA2A86ES121024. The car has 7,511 miles.
The car has the following options: -Infotainment package with Burmester High End Surround Sound System (a $7300 option!) -Convenience Package -Bi-Xenon Headlamps including Porsche Dynamic Light System -Power Folding Side Mirrors -Seat Belts in Guards Red -Sport Design Steering Wheel -Wheel Center Caps With Colored Porsche Crests -Cayman Wheels The car is in perfect condition. I've had it professionally detailed several times throughout the months. The interior is spotless, and the car has absolutely never been smoked in (or eaten in of course). No curb rash or imperfections on any of the wheels. The lower front bumper has a few extremely small blemishes from rocks/normal road wear. The only notable blemish is a rock chip on the hood about the size of half a green pea. There is tons of tread left on the tires, with roughly 9/32nds remaining throughout. If you haven't had the pleasure of hearing the Burmester sound system, it is absolutely beyond incredible and was custom designed by a collaborative effort between Porsche and Burmester in order to ensure the absolute purest of sound reproduction. It was an incredibly expensive option and likely one of the only Boxsters around so equipped and really adds a special element to the vehicle. Porsche planning Cayman GT4 racer
Fri, 10 Oct 2014To say that Porsche is big in racing is like saying that Warren Buffett dabbles in mergers and acquisitions. But while it fields the 919 Hybrid at Le Mans and in the FIA World Endurance Championship, the bulk of its racing activities are undertaken by private teams that buy customer racecars from the factory. Those in turn are largely based on the 911, but the latest intel from the motor racing world indicates that Zuffenhausen is planning a more accessible customer race car.
The new, more affordable competition car is to be based on the Cayman and built to GT4 specifications, slotting in below the 911-based GT3 Cup, GT3 R and RSR. Autosport reports that Porsche has already developed a prototype and will shortly commence testing. Details are scarce at the moment, but the Cayman GT4 would seem to compete against the likes of the Aston Martin Vantage N24, Nissan 370Z Nismo GT4 and Maserati GranTurismo MC. It will also likely help Porsche foster enthusiasm for a potential road version that's already been spotted undergoing testing. Previous GT4 racing conversions of the Cayman, like the one pictured above, were carried out by third-party racing constructors not recognized by the factory.
Porsche may not be the only one showing interest in the category, however. BMW is said to similarly be considering a GT4-spec version of its M235i Racing model to compete in the same class, taking the place of the defunct M3 GT4 as the Bavarian marque's entry-level customer racing car.

Porsche took the wraps off its all-new 2015 Macan at the LA Auto Show last week, and while it's easy to write it off as just a badge-engineered version of the Audi Q5, you'd be very, very wrong. For starters, 75 percent of the car's platform was re-engineered by the Porsche team, and with a choice of two twin-turbocharged engines, the Macan should absolutely live up to the brand's pedigree.
Porsche planning customer driving center at Le Mans
Fri, 29 Nov 2013Porsche seems to be on a campaign to build driving centers for its customers to allow them to experience the capabilities of their cars on track. It has one under way in Los Angeles, another in development at its North American headquarters in Atlanta, and a British center set up at the Silverstone circuit. Now the latest reports indicate that Porsche is planning yet another driving center at Le Mans.
The new facility is earmarked to be built at the Circuit de la Sarthe right by the start/finish line, incorporating the Porsche Curves that bridge the Arnage corner and the Ford Chicanes on the West side of the famous track.
Porsche is reportedly still seeking approval from the Automobile Club de l'Ouest that manages the circuit, and once given the green light, would still take some time to complete. But the idea of driving a 911 flat out on the legendary track is likely to make more than a few mouths water, particularly as the German automaker prepares its full-on assault of the famous endurance race next year.
