A WONDERFUL sports car - as beautiful as the day it left the showroom - was a Florida lady-owned car which has been used sparingly. Virtually no scratches on the shiny paintwork - which has a coat of hard wax applied by hand. The interior gray leather seats hug your body; the Triptronic transmission allows realistic manual driving as well as excellent positive automatic operation. This is the only automatic sports car I have owned - and it really is fabulous.
The top goes up and down just as expected. Air conditioning runs very cold (if ever needed).
The car is fast if you want that - yet it performs well at 55 mph. The wide tires give excellent grip - steering and engine are tight and a pleasure to drive. Car must be sold because we need money.....
There are minor imperfections as might be expected - for instance a small scratch mark on the passenger seat, and small marks (not visible in photos) on interior dash and trim. Everything functions, of course.....including the rarely seen rear spoiler
Both front and back trunks are spacious and clean.
Maintenance recently includes - oil change and filter (due next at 88k miles), replaced drive belt and serviced transmission at 70k miles, checked belt tensioner etc. New Battery with 4 year warranty installed today.....At 70k the front brake discs (rotors) were replaced with upgraded ventilated discs and new high grade pads.
Sold without warranty (express or implied) by a private seller - check my feedback!

Porsche boss admits Panamera's style is offputting
Sat, 11 Oct 2014
"There have been some small mistakes and we will do it better. For example the design could be better." - Matthias Mueller.
The design of the Porsche Panamera has been divisive, to say the least. Pretty much any Porsche with four doors was going to draw the ire of enthusiasts, but the fast-back-style roofline, prominent curves and seemingly never-ending hood have particularly irked some brand loyalists.
Jack Olsen built one Porsche to do it all
Wed, 23 Jan 2013Jack Olsen has built himself a lair called the 12-Gauge Garage, and inside that garage he built a lairy Porsche 911 nicknamed Black Beauty II. Although it looks like one of Stuttgart's models from the sixties or seventies, it is actually four decades of 911 gubbins from 1965 to 2000 thrown under one shell: the lightweight body is from 1972, the transaxle from 1977, the brakes from a 1986 Turbo, the engine from 1995, for example. It weighs 2,400 pounds and it's got 272 horsepower to get it going, but it's still a pure Porsche, Olsen saying, "If you stop thinking about what you're doing, it will remind you in very abrupt ways."
Olsen said the real point has been to have one car that does it all, so he does everything in his 911 from neighborhood runs to 7-11 to track racing - he loads the aero bits in the car and bolts them on trackside. And he says he'll never stop tweaking the suspension.
You can watch and hear the rest in Olsen's words in the video below.
Porsche 911 GT3 dukes it out with MP4-12C on track and GT-R on spectacular roads
Thu, 22 Aug 2013The Porsche 911 GT3 has always been a favorite among auto journalists and car enthusiasts alike, but with the introduction of the new 991-generation GT3, which is the first GT3 with electric power steering and no manual gearbox option, how does it stack up to the competition from McLaren and Nissan?
Evo's Jethro Bovingdon attempts to answer that question by pitting the rear-engine Porsche against the mid-engine McLaren MP4-12C on a racetrack and the front-engine, all-wheel-drive Nissan GT-R on some amazing, twisty European back roads. We won't give away the victor of either comparison, but we will say that, in Evo's test, the McLaren's 141-horsepower advantage doesn't give it as much of an edge over the Porsche on a racetrack as one might think, and the lack of a manual gearbox and the inclusion of electric power steering on the GT3 isn't detrimental to enjoying the car on a back road.
Watch the video below to find out which car Bovingdon prefers on road and track - we think you'll be happy to see him drift around turns every chance he gets.
