Up for sale is mi lovely and well taking care off, 2002 Porsche Boxster S 2.7L 6-cyl engine manual transmission it currently have 118000 miles on it car is really nice and dependable, is black on gray, xenon factory lights, 18 in rims and all the nice features of the s version, red calipers, automatic spoiler, roof top is in great shape no tear, blown ice cold air, starts right away, this is a daily driver, factory cd with detachable face plate and aux 3.5 connection.
now here are the details, the gas gauge is not working it always show as empty tank, i was told by a local mechanic that is the gas sensor and that needs to be replaced, to me this is not a big deal since i just load the thank and resets the millage counter and i always get 340 miles per galon, it rides smooth but when you hit a hole or something you can hear strut noise so they might need to be replaced, the lcd on the climate control is cracked on the temperature side so you cant see the numbers but you can see all the other options and the remote control as is common with this model is not working, check engine light comes on and off every now and then i was told be the local import mechanic that the o2 sensor needs to be replaced but since it goes away for months i never got it replaced, when you hit second gear to fast or first there is a knock i was told that is common in this model since the motor mounts wear off and its like 250 to replace i just dont want to put money into something im going to sell.
other than those detail car is awesome and drives just like a porsche should please feel free to ask as many questions as you might have.

2014 Porsche 911 GT3 [w/video]
Thu, 01 Aug 2013The Bearable Lightness Of Being
Start with a standard Porsche 911 Carrera and its 350-horsepower, 3.6-liter flat six-cylinder engine. Bore a crepe-thin slice of aluminum from each cylinder to get to 3.8 liters, add a wider track out back and two extra exhaust pipes and voila, you can append an S to the Carrera's name. Hang two sets of wet, multi-disc clutches along its spine and you can make that a 4, or a 4S. Bolt on two forced-induction compressors and piping, add two fender vents and comically wide rear tires and you've redeemed your ticket to a Turbo. Increase the boost pressure and swell the corral to 560 horses and you have the Turbo S, which is the Virginia Slims of the 911 line-up because it's come a long way, baby.
Or you can go in a different direction. At that second stop, grab the 3.8-liter and cart it over to the engineers at Porsche's development center in Weissach, Germany. If racing were meat, they would be among the alpha carnivores. The baseboards in their homes are probably painted with miniature billboards for motor oil and vintage cigarettes along the straights, red-and-white stripes around every corner.
Porsche planning new 911 Speedster as 550 tribute
Tue, 12 Nov 2013Some look at the emergence of a new Porsche 911 and see a car. But to Porsche engineers, it might as well be a reset button. Because every time a new 911 comes out, it sets off a tidal wave of new variants to follow, including convertibles, turbos, targas, GT3s... the works.
The next down the pipeline, though, could be one of the most desirable. That, according to German publication Auto Bild, will be a new 911 Speedster. When it arrives early in 2015, the special roadster will reportedly be limited to just 550 examples in tribute to the original 550 Spyder.
It'll reportedly have hidden door handles, a chopped-down windshield and a fabric top to be used only in case of emergency, manually disappearing below a carbon-fiber cowling. All of which makes it sounds as much like a bigger version of the Boxster Spyder as a successor to the last 911 Speedster (pictured above), and that's no bad thing at all.
50th Anniversary Porsche 911 vs. Jaguar F-Type Coupe is a battle of beauty, brawn
Fri, 13 Jun 2014There can't really be a loser between the Jaguar F-Type Coupe R and the Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition. One might be better than the other, but if you're behind the wheel of either of them, you can't complain. In a new video, Motor Trend takes on the difficult task of determining which one of these European powerhouses is the best, not just in terms of raw performance, but also how they actually feel to drive.
The Porsche 911 is one of the perennial favorites of the motoring world. It just doesn't go away and always seems capable of challenging the top vehicles in its class. In this video, Motor Trend takes a look at the 50th Anniversary Edition model that celebrates that heritage while boosting power somewhat over the standard version.
The F-Type Coupe is an incredibly masculine car, MT describing it as "a British Corvette." The coupe's exterior lines are tautly stretched over its athletic body, and it's supercharged 5.0-liter V8 sounds like a demon's growl. Jaguar seems to have things right with its latest sports car.
