For Sale is a 20000 Boxter in very good condition. This Porsche runs and drives excellent with no issues.

Now for the real stuff
124,500 miles Regular service at European shop. Mechanically this car is in very good to excellent condition,The engine ,transmission and clutch work as they should with no issues,no check engine lights etc.Brakes are about 50-60%. Tires are 75-85% rear 50% front.Car drives like a dream.Just had oil change with Lubri Moly oil and filter.
Ready for the long cruise.and summer fun

The interior of this car is very good to great condition with normal wear. Seats have absolutely no rips or tears,Carpets are in very good condition with no stains or tears. There is normal wear on console and around door handles etc. All electronics work as they should. A/C blows nice and cold, heater work as it should but then again who cares about the heater? Spring is HERE!!!!!!!

The exterior of the car is in good condition. the arctic silver paint shines nice however there are some flaws in the paint. There are minor scuffs and scratches as you would expect for a 14 year old car, There is NO major damage but pictures tend to show a car in a better light than it is.I am trying to describe this car as accurately as I can without making it sound like a POS.  There are no big dents or anything like that just NORMAL wear.

Okay so now for the BAD stuff::

The power top is now a Manual top,the right side transmission is in need of replacement as are 90% of  the older Boxters. Takes literally 45 seconds to put top up or down manually and a 12 year old could do it.
The top is in great condition but the back plastic window is starting to crack at the fold. One very small crack on both sides about 1/4 inch long
The windshield has a scratch in it from the wiper arm.

With all that being said This car is in very good condition overall and is going to sell to the first or last bidder. There is NO RESERVE on this car and I am starting the bidding at what a Wholesaler offered me for the car last week. The car is also listed for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end this auction without notice.

I strongly urge anyone interested in this car to come look at it and test drive it or have someone inspect it for you  BEFORE the auction ends as you are buying the car AS-IS WHERE-IS with NO WARRANTY expressed or implied.

If you have any questions please contact me through Ebay or you can call me at 919-369-4311 and leave a message and I will call you back within 2 hours. Please keep in mind I am on EST.

Autoblog Minute: VW Q3 financial woes, 2015 Tokyo Motor Show

Fri, Oct 30 2015

Consumer Reports pulls its Tesla recommendation, the U.S. Copyright Office offers a ruling affecting car owners, VW gets hit hard with third-quarter losses, and lots of exciting news from Tokyo. Autoblog senior editor Greg Migliore reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute Weekly Recap. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] Consumer Reports pulls its Tesla recommendation, the U.S. copyright office offers a ruling that affects car owners and gear heads, VW gets hit hard with third-quarter losses, and lots of exciting news from Tokyo. I'm senior editor Greg Migliore and this is your Autoblog Minute Weekly Recap. After a week away testing vehicles for Autoblog's Tech of the Year award, we're back in the office to recap the week in automotive news. [00:00:30] One of the things you might have missed was Consumer Reports pulling its recommendation of Tesla's Model S sedan. The blemish for Tesla comes after a tally of reviews from customer surveys. The most common problem areas for the Model S as cited by survey takers included: the drivetrain, power equipment, charging equipment, body and sunroof squeaks, rattles, and leaks. So lots of stuff. Though they could not ignore a score of "worse-than-average", Consumer Reports still [00:01:00] highlighted the fact that the Model S was "the best performing car" they've ever tested. Telsa CEO Elon Musk took to social media to defend his sedans saying: "Consumer Reports reliability survey includes a lot of early production cars. Already addressed in new cars." And, "Tesla gets top rating of any company in service. Most important, CR says 97% of owners expect their next car to be a Tesla (the acid test)." In Financial news, Volkswagen took a hit and reported an operating loss of [00:01:30] $3.84 billion. This is the first such loss for VW in 15 years. Toyota reclaimed the crown as the world's largest automaker as well. It's important that it's not all doom and gloom for VW though in Q3. Sales revenues were up and the company's automotive division boasts $30 billion dollars in liquid assets. It's a sizable war chest that will no doubt come in handy, as the company has yet to feel the full brunt of the diesel emissions scandal. Good news for gear heads. The US copyright office [00:02:00] ruled in favor of mechanics and car owners by granting an exception to existing copyright law. The law was originally meant to prevent software pirating and bootlegging of Hollywood movies.

World Car of the Year finalists announced

Fri, 07 Mar 2014

To say the 2014 Geneva Motor Show was packed full of news is an understatement as big as the show's home at the Palexpo convention center. Despite everything that we were able to cover during this year's show, there's still more coming out of Switzerland, including the announcement of the finalists for the 2014 World Car of the Year Awards.
We reported on the original list of finalists over three weeks ago, and now, that initial list has been pared down to three finalists for each of the five awards. The finalists were announced at a press conference by frequent Autoblog contributor and co-chair of the awards, Matt Davis (above).
The finalists for the overall title of 2014 World Car of the Year are the Audi A3, the BMW 4 Series and the Mazda3. The World Luxury Car of the Year will be either the Bentley Flying Spur, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class or the Land Rover Range Rover Sport, while the Performance Car of the Year will be awarded to the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the Ferrari 458 Speciale or the Porsche 911 GT3 (which, um, yeah...).

How Porsche got Patrick Dempsey into the driver's seat for Le Mans

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice. Ask Patrick Dempsey and he'll likely tell you the same secret for landing a role on a hit TV show or, for that matter, driving a Porsche in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
That's because, like McQueen and Newman, Dempsey has earned his place in that rarified field of actors who also race. He's competed in Baja and Grand-Am, co-owns an IndyCar team, and this year returned to Le Mans where he and his teammates Joe Foster and Patrick Long finished fourth in the GTE-Am class behind the wheel of their Porsche 911 RSR.
It's a grueling race, and the fluid transition between drivers behind the wheel is a key element to success. Check out the satirical video below to see how Dempsey and company got ready.
