Selling our Porsche 944, this is the first model year of the 944.
 This is not a US spec car, Vin #WPOZZZ94ZCN401315. My wife and I have enjoyed owning this car for the last seventeen years.
 It has one small dent in the lower left front fender behind the rear wheel(see picture)
 I would consider this car a 7/8 out of 10 for an unrestored 33 year old car.
 It would be considered an RS model as it has no air conditioning or power steering, the options were limited ss (I've never seen another)and painted steel removeable sunroofs, electric window lifts, rear sway bar, sixteen inch seven inch front wheels and eight inch rear wheels with hand painted center crests.
 It has an Alpine CD head unit with Alpine speakers.
 It has new Conti Extreme Contact tires(less than 200 miles)205x55x16 front and 225x50x16 rear.
 I have several new parts for this car that will be included and could be installed with it's next service.
 Currently smogged and registered in California.

Competition comes in the form of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster and the Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet. Sun-loving CEOs who despise test-driving need look no further.

Porsche calls in The Committee for Boxster and Cayman GTS

Porsche is set to offer up the very first GTS variants of its more affordable Boxster convertibles and Cayman coupes. This is very good news for enthusiasts. Aside from our original post announcing the hotted up models, though, Porsche hasn't given us much to go on.
And you know what? This video isn't much of help either. It's called The Committee, and we're guessing it's meant to highlight the lengths that Porsche went to in designing what are essentially sportier trim levels for its two most affordable entries. Still, it's a stylized and entertaining video with a few entertaining driving scenes scattered throughout, and it gives just a small glimpse of Porsche's view of the vaunted GTS badge.

Raiding The Porsche Museum For A Fun Track Day
It seems everyone is celebrating anniversaries this year: it's Aston's hundredth, Lamborghini's fiftieth, Ford Mustang's fiftieth, Chevy Corvette's sixtieth - and Tesla just turned ten or something. It's been a little out of hand, frankly, all these forced marketing festivities, but if we had to pick one milestone to really celebrate hard and party all night, the Porsche 911 would be at the top of our list.
Get ready for a major 911 blowout bash at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show. It was on September 12 back in 1963 at this very show where Porsche unveiled its "901" painted in a rather boring shade of beige. Though drably finished, the car caused a worldwide frenzy in the budding German sports car sphere.
