Belen, New Mexico, United States

The car is in Good original condition considering it has been setting 10 Years and prior to that I spent $2500.00 on this car and only put about 3000 miles on it when my father got sick.  Once he passed away in 2007 Either the Fuel Pump or Fuel Pump Relay went out because when I cranked it over I didn't hear the fuel pump turn on and I never got it up and running.  I am selling the car AS IS and the following information is accurate I have owned the car since 1999.  I love this car but I have to let it go to help take care of family.

HISTORY

I purchased the car back in 1999 and Rarely Driven it because I had 5 other vehicles at the time.  Then back in 2000 I Spent $2500.00 on the car and had the following work done and completed…..

ALL BELTS WERE REPLACED

WATER PUMP WITH TENSIONER AND PULLEY

VALVE COVER GASKET

SEVERAL SMALL SEALS WERE REPLACED

OEM SPARK PLUG WIRES WITH PLUGS

ALTERNATOR BRACKET

CATALYST CONVERTER

NEW RADIATOR

BRAND NEW BLAUPAUNKT LEXINGTON CAR STEREO

The work was done and Parts were provided and Installed by the following shops in Albuquerque….

HANS WHITTLERS

EUROPEAN AUTOMOTIVE

SANDIA MUFFLER

The Following is a List of what the car is going to NEED to get it running…..

FUEL PUMP INSTALLED (Brand New One Included Purchased from Ebay)

FUEL FILTER INSTALLED (Brand New One Included Purchased from Ebay)

BATTERY

FUEL TANK FLUSHED OUT

ALL FLUIDS FLUSHED OUT

Included I am throwing in a BRAND NEW FUEL PUMP I recently purchased on ebay and a BRAND NEW FUEL FILTER along with a BOSCH OIL FILTER AND 5 quart of WALMART’S SUPERTECH OIL as well.  ( I didn’t get Valvoline because I figured once the car is up and running a 2nd oil change is advised after running it for 30 min or so.  Then put the Valvoline in there).

BODY

The body is all original with a different hood because when I purchased the car it had a new paint job and you could see the hood came from another Porsche but it opens as well as shuts and locks fine but the hood is peeling paint and there appears there have been some light bondo work but car is very straight otherwise and has always handled tight and snug at high and low speeds.  The windshield will need to be replaced as well as Tires.  There are a couple of small dings near the door but they are not too bad and can be prepped easily.

Audi outlasts rivals to win 13th Le Mans title

Sun, 15 Jun 2014

As is so often the case, the 2014 Le Mans was a war of attrition, and Audi managed to prevail once again after all 24 hours had been recorded in the history books, with its Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro claiming first and second places, followed by Toyota in third. Drivers Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer inherited the lead in their No. 2 Audi after the No. 7 Toyota, driven by pole-sitter Kazuki Nakajima, was forced to retire with electrical problems in the 15th hour.
The No. 2 Audi led the race until it was forced to the pits to replace a turbocharger in the 17th hour, allowing the No. 1 Audi, driven by Lucas di Grassi, Marc Gene (who was a last-minute replacement for Loic Duval, who crashed hard during practice) and defending champion Tom Kristensen, led the race until the 21st hour, when it too had to pit with turbocharger issues. This gave the No. 20 Porsche of Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley, and Mark Webber the lead until it was forced off the track with gearbox problems, eventually finishing in 38th position.
In LMP2, the Jota Sport Zytek Z11SN-Nissan driven by Simon Dolan, Harry Tincknell and Oliver Turvey claimed victory, the first five LMP2 finishers all powered by Nissan. Down a level in GTE-Pro, No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 driven by Gianmaria Bruni, Toni Vilander and Giancarlo Fisichella finished one lap ahead of the leading Corvette Racing C7.R. And finally, the No. 95 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTE driven by Kristian Poulsen, David HeinemeierHansson and Nicki Thiim won the GTE-Am race two laps ahead of a Proton Porsche 911 GT3 RSR.

Porsche 991 vs. 930 Flatnose in 911 Turbo convertible faceoff

Tue, 15 Jul 2014

The Porsche 911 Turbo has a legacy of being a tough car to drive. With a ton of power set right over the rear wheels, its reputation is to lose control as soon as the driver stops concentrating. However, this isn't quite so true anymore. The modern ones are tamed through technology with things like hydraulically controlled engine mounts, not to mention all-wheel drive. In its latest video, Autocar tries to decide whether 25 years of progress really makes the turbo a better vehicle.
It's summer, so what better version to compare than the 911 Turbo Cabriolet? In one corner, Autocar has the latest and greatest 2014 version pumping out 513 horsepower and 486 pound-feet of torque with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Its challenger is a 1989 911 flatnose convertible sporting 326 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque. It's a truly rare car in the UK with only eight of them remaining on the roads in that region.
Granted, this test isn't so much a battle as it is a comparison. There's no question that the modern 911 would beat the classic in practically every objective category. What the video aims to find out is whether the flatnose is better in subjective measurements like its "feel." Scroll down to watch these two droptop Porsches square off.

Porsche Boxster/Cayman GTS, Macan, 911 Targa details leaked

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

The folks over at Jalopnik have published some rather interesting images from what looks to be a presentation held inside Porsche's North American headquarters in Atlanta, GA. What these leaked photos reveal is pretty significant - details about several of the brand's upcoming launches, including GTS versions of the Boxster and Cayman, a new 911 Targa, and information about the Macan crossover that will debut at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show. Of course, none of this information has been officially verified, but it all looks and sounds pretty believable to us. So, let's dig in.
First up, Porsche will launch the Boxster and Cayman GTS models at next year's Beijing Motor Show in April. Upgrades for the GTS models will include a 15-horsepower bump, standard manual transmission (with optional dual-clutch PDK), standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and a slightly quicker 0-60 time. Jalopnik reports that these models will cost around $75,000.
We've spied the soon-to-be-revealed Porsche Macan (pictured right) on several occasions, and these slides suggest that the small crossover will have two different types of turbo power under its hood. The Macan S will use a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, while the Macan Turbo will use a 3.6-liter unit. Seven-speed PDK transmissions are expected to be fitted to both, and this leaked information states that the new, small Porsche will cost $52,000 and $75,000 for the S and Turbo versions, respectively.
