pristine 944 cab, few tasteful mods, will not find cleaner anywhere.
-3 piece cross membrane (lowers your mechanic bill by half) (original comes with car ) -car has a chip/ cat bypass, k&N filter (original cat will come with the car) - perfect bbs porsche 2 piece wheels/ tons of tires left - few cosmetic mods as you can see (993 mirrors, momo wheel, boxster s shifter and much more........) the paint has A handful of small rock chips otherwise, looks like it just rolled off the show room, the interior is even better, all plastic/ glass, trim, seals, top( works), carpets... all like new.. - clutch, timing belt, ac, slave and few little things were done at 60000 miles. comes with maintenance records, original tool kit, 2set of porsche keys,a box of brat penn green oil & a box full of quality maintenance parts &more this has been my daily driver for almost 2 years, never let me down, HOWEVER, the ac compressor just gave out again (was rebuilt the last time) and there is a slight leak coming from one of the power steering hoses but doesnt make it to the ground. this car has been loved all its life, and there are tons of small nice details the new buyer will really appreciate. its a solid reliable driver, and wouldnt hesitate to drive it across country. i apologize for the different pictures, but that's all i have on my computer at this time, will take more when i get back in town later this week will not disappoint |

The 2013 Rolex 24-hour race at Daytona comes down to the last hour [spoilers, w/video]
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It took 24 hours to run the race, but it was the last one was stuffed with the high action as four cars were still trying to figure out how to gain victory on the track and in the pits. Along with the obligatory crashes, spins, mechanical issues and retirements had come numerous penalties, a double-digit number of full-course yellows and two hours of fog that turned early Sunday morning into a stretch of parade laps.
The final hour would make up for the morning - drivers who might have been happy just to get on the podium had a shot at victory as the end of the race approached, and that turned into a few gambles that paid off, and at least one that didn't...

Start with a standard Porsche 911 Carrera and its 350-horsepower, 3.6-liter flat six-cylinder engine. Bore a crepe-thin slice of aluminum from each cylinder to get to 3.8 liters, add a wider track out back and two extra exhaust pipes and voila, you can append an S to the Carrera's name. Hang two sets of wet, multi-disc clutches along its spine and you can make that a 4, or a 4S. Bolt on two forced-induction compressors and piping, add two fender vents and comically wide rear tires and you've redeemed your ticket to a Turbo. Increase the boost pressure and swell the corral to 560 horses and you have the Turbo S, which is the Virginia Slims of the 911 line-up because it's come a long way, baby.
Or you can go in a different direction. At that second stop, grab the 3.8-liter and cart it over to the engineers at Porsche's development center in Weissach, Germany. If racing were meat, they would be among the alpha carnivores. The baseboards in their homes are probably painted with miniature billboards for motor oil and vintage cigarettes along the straights, red-and-white stripes around every corner.

Thu, 29 May 2014The Porsche Boxster and Cayman will forever nip at the heels of their big brother, the 911 Carrera, and perpetuating this tradition are the latest GTS variants, which add yet another arrow to the quiver of the plucky mid-engined platform.
The GTS' performance enhancements boost horsepower by a mere 15 and shave a tenth from 0 to 60, but Porsche's clever product planners and engineers have stuck to their familiar formula in making the Cayman GTS more desirable than the Boxster for dyed-in-the-wool performance enthusiasts. More on that shortly.
Laps around Spain's Circuito Mallorca RennArena and the nearby Serra de Tramuntana mountain range would shed further light on how the GTS differentiates itself from lesser Caymans.
