For Sale, Real Porsche 930 Euro with OEM 965 Bumbers giving it a newer look. With almost 70000mi. It has a 3.3 motor with tastful mods. I have owned this car for almost 9 years now have done lots of maintenance and did mods on what I wanted. The car has been upkept and modded by very well known garages in Fairfield county CT. I am going to describe as best I can what has been done to this car. I would like who ever is interest to come out and inspect the car before purchase, this is my first time listing a vehicle on ebay and just want who ever is lucky enough to own this car next to know exactly what I'm selling, this car is almost 30 years old and does have normal wear, but with that said its a clean car. It has two new fuel pumps, wheel bearings, billstein shocks, B&B exhaust with heat exchangers, k29 Turbo, Tile waste gate, tile blow off valve, large oil scavenge pump (after market). Large protomotive inner cooler, new vaccume hoses, new clutch from clucth master EXCELLENT!, new clutch cable. When I purchased the car 2nd gear had a small grind I had the tranny sent out to be rebuilt, this was done almost 8 years ago and it works to a T. Motor wise car makes 352hp at wheel at .08 lbs of boost.

Interior- Dash has its normal wear and tear I never replaced or recovered it, Door cards are real leather after market RS race panels, It has two recaro seats, the back seat has been taken out for a custom box with 2 12" JL audio subs (I still have original seats). Rear panel has been reapolstered with real leather and had brand new 4x6 polk audio's. Front speakers are 6.5 seperates Cadance.with an alpine head unit. Supporting all this with a very high end macintash 5 channel amp. This is not your neighborhood boom box this was all done for sound quality. Headliner was brand new, sunroof cables were both replaced. Clock had been changed to boost guage, steering wheel to momo competition. The downer is the driver side bloster on the recaro seat is a little worn. All electronics inside the car work as they should, except AC because I never hooked it up but everything is there in place. Also the driver side door lock sometimes is tempermental. I never addressed it becasue it sits in a garage and always gets front row parking keeping it visual.

Exterior- Car was painted in 2007 due to the fact I wanted to do 965 front and rear bumpers and the original paint did not match due to the fading from age, so I painted the whole car so it matched, the entire car was dismantled, windows removed, all trims and outer rubbers were replaced. Front and rear bumper are OEM meaning they are original poly eurothane bumbers NOT fiberglass. Side shirts "rocker panel" had been screwed in (I happen to like the look) with screws showing (they can be glued to elimate the site of screws if you prefer but then they will never be able to be removed), this is the only fiber glass piece on the car. Rear tail lights are OEM 965 lights. The front fog lights are aftermarket with an air duck. The front wing I bought at the hearshey park swap meet. The cars paint job came out excellent but keep in mind it was painted on 2007 and it does sit low so we have road rash on the rocker and the quarter. The car also sits on a real set of fikse FM10 Wheels with brand new front tires and the rears have about 70% left. No oil leaks that I am aware of. I dont drive the car much so I put a cut off switch on the battery in order to maintain its life while not being used. The battery is an optimum battery about 2 years old. It has race hawk break pads they work excellent at high speed but squeek in town. There are tons more things I am sure I am forgetting but like I said I would love anyone interested to come out and inspect the car. There are no warrenties.

Due to the car being a Euro car having a hard time entering the vin so here it is WP0ZZZ93ZFS000318

If interested serious buyers speak with your wife and check your bank book this is a serious car for a serious person.

The car runs, drives and looks excellent.

Porsche considering X6-style Cayenne coupe

Mon, 05 May 2014

It was practically unthinkable when Porsche introduced the Cayenne in 2002. An SUV... from Porsche? Purists balked, but customers flocked, and the Cayenne propelled the its holding company into such profitability that it practically took over the entire Volkswagen Group. It's now been twelve years since the original Cayenne arrived as the first production Porsche with more than two doors, and Zuffenhausen has since followed up with the Panamera, the Macan and the second-generation Cayenne. But it isn't about to stop there.
The latest intel coming in from overseas suggests that Porsche is in the advanced stages of designing a slant-back, five-door Cayenne coupe to take on the likes of the BMW X6 and upcoming Mercedes-Benz MLC. Though the business case (however solid BMW may have already demonstrated it to be) is still being considered, if approved it would join the upcoming third-generation Cayenne on the production line in Leipzig as early as 2018 - a year after the new Cayenne itself is expected to arrive.
The Cayenne coupe would share much with the more conventional MkIII Cayenne (and for that matter the next Audi Q7 and VW Touareg as well as the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Falcon) but differentiate itself with a more stylish (if less practical) roofline and an altogether sportier attitude. Autocar reports that the design calls for tauter sheetmetal and sportier cabin inspired by the 918 Spyder. Pricing would be positioned a good 15-20 percent higher than the regular Cayenne, and the "coupe" version would likely be offered with most, if not all of the engines available in the conventional version - including gasoline, diesel, turbo and possibly even hybrid options ranging all the way up to the 550-horsepower Turbo S.

Watch onboard video of the Porsche 918 Spyder's record 'Ring lap

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

"Pics or it didn't happen!" You could almost hear the Internet shouting this when news started to trickle in about a sub-seven-minute Nürburgring lap by the new Porsche 918 Spyder. Well, after an official press release, which we ran earlier today, we have your "pics." Moving pics, to be more exact. Porsche has released on-board footage of the 6:57 lap.
The video, which runs about eight-and-a-half minutes, and shows the 918 from inside the car on a flying lap of the German track. Perhaps what's remarkable is just how undramatic it all looks. Sure, there's some sawing at the wheel from test driver Marc Lieb (one of three testers, including legendary rally king Walter Röhrl), but he makes wrangling the Martini-liveried 918 look kind of easy.
Take a look down below for the full, on-board video, and then click over and read our initial write-up from earlier this morning and take a glance at the more stylized video that Porsche originally posted.

Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer

An Iconic Sports Car, Restored to Seduce
I have been strapped behind the iconic Momo Prototipo steering wheel for a little more than an hour, all windows down as I carve my way up a rugged canyon during an unusually warm Southern California evening, and I am overwhelmed with emotion. My heart is pounding out of my chest, my breathing is heavy and my palms are sweaty because I am completely absorbed by this wondrous machine.
After waiting patiently for nearly four years, I am finally behind the wheel of a classic Porsche 911 restored, modified and tuned by Singer Vehicle Design. The vehicle that surrounds me never rolled off an automaker's assembly line in its current configuration, yet its physical appearance is timeless, build quality breathtaking and driving dynamics peerless.
