Up for sale is a 1980 Porsche 928 that has been professionally customized into a soft top convertible. It has the original 4.5L V8 engine and an automatic transmission. The odometer reads 177,000 kilometers (equals about 109,000 miles) as this is a European model.
Car starts, runs and drives strong. The car is somewhat of a project car and needs to be fully finished to look and be its best. The soft top needs to be replaced and the paint is not perfect.
The car is located in Tampa, Florida and can be shipped nationwide. I have shipped numerous cars across the country and am comfortable doing it. This car has no reserve and will sell! Good luck bidding. If you would like additional information or are local and want to see the car in person, give me a call at 813-309-2343 - Brent.

Supercar parade entering highway is mesmerizing
Thu, 09 May 2013In what must have looked and sounded to motorists on the M6 like an invasion of The Swarm, a parade of 50 enthusiast gems leaving a charity event were caught shooting down the on-ramp and merging into traffic. There were plenty of Porsches joining the 959 and Ducktail above, Aston Martins going back to the badboy V8 of the last millennium, a Ferrari Testarossa, a TVR and numerous other Easter eggs.
There were not, however, plenty of turn signals, with someone counting just five among the fifty engaging in proper use of the blinker. One reason put forth for that is the same reason we're posting this video, which is from last Summer, below: "because supercar." Enjoy.
J.D. Power: Vehicle dependability at all-time high, Lexus and Porsche lead
Wed, 13 Feb 2013
Each year, J.D. Power and Associates surveys original owners of three-year-old vehicles to find out what kinds of problems they have had experienced over the last 12 months, and then it uses this data to create its annual Vehicle Dependability Study. This means that the models in the 2013 study are 2010 model year vehicles, and J.D. Power rates each make as well as the top individual models based on how many problems were experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100).
Debunking the idea that carryover models are more dependable than new or updated models, the 2013 study found that the average carryover model experienced 133 PP100, while all-new or redesigned vehicles for the 2010 model year had 116 PP100; vehicles that received minor changes fared the best with just 111 PP100. The overall average for all makes was 126 PP100, which is the lowest figure since the findings were first issued in 1989.
