This has been a great car for me over the last 4 years. I'm only seeling it because I bought a new toy. This 924S Runs Great!

Do your research and you will see why this is a great find. Faster than a 944!  Great Gas Milage and it's fun to drive!
The interior of this car is phenominal, The seats have no rips tares or visable wear, Includes a set of original floor matts also in incredible shape. Carpet shows no wear at all.

Car could use a detail as I am a private seller and do not believe in detailing a used car, its like putting lipstick on a pig. I would rather have you see what you are getting. Its a little dirty, there are a few scratches and dents on the body (see pics). But the paint shines and still looks amazing from about 10 feet away!

Notice the cup holder in the console, custon installed, I like to take a coffee with me.

Now the needs, Needs a Horn, a window wash motor and the third brake light needs to be hooked up, needs new shocks on the hood, you may notice the custon hood hold up bar I have been using, works great, The odometer stopped working when I got it and I have not fixed it, I believe it needs a new odometer, The speedometer works fine and the estimated mile right now is about 150,000. The good stuff, all the mechanicals are fine engine runs strong and it shifts smooth. A/c and heat work exceptionally well. Stereo is upgraded to a nice pioneer CD and MP3 player also has a line for your phone to plug in for hands free calling or
listening to Pandora, or the lovely GPS woman.

I am doing a .99 cent auction with no reserve. The car will go to the highest bidder. If you are the highest bidder and you win, I do expect you to pay the $100 deposit immediately. And then I want you to worry about, if you then back out will I give it back to you? IF I don't hear from you I will make sure eBay tracks you down and beats the living tar out of you. I need to sell this car and get paid, I don't have time for people bidding and then asking the wife if it's OK to Buy a Porsche! You know she will say NO! So remember Forgiveness is always easier than consent! But honey I did not know you didn't want a Porsche, but it gets 37 miles to the Gallon (HWY) we will save money with this car! Besides I already put $100 down on it and I doubt this bastard will give me my deposit back! I better pay the rest cause he said eBay with beat the tar out me.

Please don't bid if you don't have the Cahoonies to pay.

The car is in Baltimore Maryland. I can accomodate a shipper. Buyer is responsible for all shipping logistics and cost

This is an as is where is sale, there are no warrenties implied spoken or written for this sale. I have a clear title and am ready to sell.

Please look at the picture and ask questions before you bid.

If you want to see it or speak to me in person send me an email through the ask a question section and include your phone number.

I will call you back!

Thanks for looking and remember, " You would look good in a PORSCHE!"

Magnus Walker and Alex Ross stop by Leno's garage with their 997 GT2

Mon, Feb 9 2015

The market is littered with Porsche 911 tuners, with names like 9ff, Gemballa and TechArt leading the field. Seldom do any two ever collaborate on a joint project, but that's just the kind of match that was made at Jay Leno's Garage. That's where Alex Ross of SharkWerks and restomodder Magnus Walker first met, sparking a collaboration that yielded the car you see here. And fittingly, they've brought it back to the garage to show off what resulted. Though Walker usually deals with older Elfens, this time he applied his eye for style on a more contemporary 2008 997 GT2, decking it out with grey stripes, orange bumpers, gold wheels and decals and a tartan-upholstered interior. He left the mechanical bits to Ross and company, who dropped the suspension and increased output to 650 horsepower at the wheels (775 at the crank), surpassing the stock GT2 and even the later GT2 RS. The result is pretty hard-core and old-school, but you'll want to watch the video above to see for yourself.

Porsche again staring down another $1.8B in hedge fund lawsuits

Wed, 15 May 2013

The sequence of events from 2007 that began with Porsche's secret attempt to take over Volkswagen, and instead lead to Porsche being taken over by VW, continues to instigate lawsuits against the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer. A group of hedge funds that suffered over $1 billion in losses sued the car company in New York. Porsche had publicly stated it wasn't trying to buy VW, the hedge funds in question were shorting VW stock, and when Porsche's actual intentions were revealed, the stock shot up and the hedge funds took a beating.
The case was thrown out over the issue of jurisdiction, then appealed, only to see another suit filed on top of that. After that, most of the hedge funds withdrew their claims in New York and Porsche offered a 90-day window to refile in Germany where it is already fighting a number of other suits over the same issue. The hedge funds accepted the offer, refiling in Stuttgart for $1.8 billion in damages. According to Bloomberg, Porsche hasn't commented on the refiling, but as the same plaintiffs are involved, it's safe to assume that the carmaker still feels the case is "unsubstantiated and without merit." It has fared alright so far even in German courts, with two lesser cases against it thrown out last year.

Sunday Drive: A new Rambo Lambo takes center stage

Sun, Dec 10 2017

Surprise! Autoblog readers love fast cars. Doesn't matter what shape; doesn't matter what size. As long as it's got big power, wicked acceleration, and ludicrous speed, you're interested. Take, for instance, the brand-new Lamborghini Urus. It's got a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 sending 641 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque through an 8-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. It hits 62 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 189.5 mph. Ludicrous speed? Check. And although you'd be hard pressed to draw a line straight back from the upcoming Urus to the old, off-road-ready LM002, at least you can say that Lamborghini does have a history of producing overpowered SUVs. A 5.2-liter V12 engine producing 444 horsepower and borrowed from the Countach certainly qualifies as big power, especially considering this was in the 1980s and '90s. A prime example just sold for nearly half a million bucks. Moving along to more traditional sportscars, we got a sneak peek at the next Porsche 911's interior, thanks to some intrepid spy photographers. And we spy with our little eyes some major changes to the quintessential German sportscar. Finally, we round out this Sunday Drive with two First Drive reports. Both are German, but past that, they couldn't be more different. Either way, ludicrous speed is all but guaranteed by either one. As always, stay tuned to Autoblog for all the latest automotive news that's fit to print.
