Please Read, it will only take you 4 minutes! because you may miss out on a car that in a few months it will reach it's 50th anniversary and car collector experts predict that it will take a big jump in value in 8 months, just like the 1965 911's have increase in value once it reached it's 50th anniversary, and are now selling for over $200K.

We are selling this very early 912, the $60K price is for the car fully restored! Or if you want to restore it yourself you can make an offer and buy it as-is, I can part from it at a much lower price, I may consider part trade but I do need mostly cash!

My colleague is the one that will be restoring it at his shop, because unfortunately right now, I don't have the time or the extra funds at this moment to restore it!

I have the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity from PORSCHE, that shows the Manufacture completion date "December 6th 1965". It came originally with 3 gauges from the factory, like The 356 came also with 3 gauges.
Is registered up to date, it looks like it has a 4cyl VW engine that needs some  parts, I don't know about engines, that is why I posted a picture of the engine.

Also 1964 and 65 911 owners, is good to know, that 99% of 1965 / 1966 912 body parts are exchangeable with the 1965 911's, specially if the manufacture completion date says 1965, if a $225K 1964 / 1965 911 crashes and needs original parts from a 1965 Porsche I am sure that they will be willing to pay at least $30K for an original 1965 body, to put his 1964 / 1965 $225K 911 back in it's original condition, the 1965 911's and 912's were identical, only the engine and dash material, were different, all other body parts and mechanical parts were just about the same, they changed in 1966, there for, a Porsche with 1966 manufacture completion date, won't work if they want to restore it just the way it came out of the factory, and if later they want to sell it for over $225K they cannot use parts from a 1966 Porsche or newer, this is another reason why the 1965 912's are going up in price!

Once the 912 is painted and restored the cars value will be substantially more than a 912 with a 1966 or newer manufacture date, the good thing is that this cars under carriage is in very good condition, there is Hardly any rust.

Notice on the pictures with the auction results how prices have increased since 2004, also notice that there are no 1965 911 sales data, only one shows year 1964, this is among the first Porsches made, similar to a 911 that I have, notice how it sold for much more than a 1966 or newer Porsche, it sold for $225K. This is why now the1965 912's will also increase in value.

I have 99% of all the parts of the 912, bumpers, lights, windows etc. we took them out and started restoring the car, unfortunately I have to part from it, because I don't have the time, I am concentrating in restoring my early 1965 911, I own one of the first 1000 911's made and it could also be the first "Silver Metallic color" 911, that PORSCHE ever made, I'm waiting for PORSCHE Germany to verify. If in fact it is,  PORSCHE will Like to buy it for their Museum, because it will be the first "Silver Metallic" 911 that they manufacture,  most of the Porsche models in their Museum are Silver Metallic color. Then the value would probably be between $600k and $900K.

This is also why I am selling the 912! I will love to see it done, but I just don't have the time! If you want it as-is, make me an offer, I can part from it, as it is now, for a much lower price then the fully restored price, and you can make even a bigger profit once it jumps in value on it's 50th anniversary which is in only 8 months!

Any questions or offers, you may contact through ebay or call Fred at 951-216-86 five four!

Best compact SUVs of 2023 and 2024

Thu, Oct 20 2022

Compact SUVs are now the go-to choice for family transportation. Actually, considering how popular they are, they have clearly moved beyond only family duty. With such popularity, though, comes an awful lot of competitors, and it can be difficult to figure out which one might be the best compact SUV for you.  It's important to note that by "compact SUV" we're talking about a specific segment. As we describe in our more comprehensive "Best small SUVs" list, there are also subcompact SUVs that vary widely in size amongst themselves, but are clearly smaller than the SUVs below. Frankly, today's segment of compact SUVs isn't exactly compact — some have more cargo space than vehicles that are considered midsize based on their exterior dimensions. They've all grown considerably over the years. While many lists out there just rattle off every vehicle available in a segment, we thought we'd be a bit more helpful and curate your shopping a bit with the top-recommended choices reviewed by Autoblog. We've included both mainstream and compact luxury SUV choices. Best compact SUVs of 2023 and 2024 2024 Honda CR-V Why it stands out: Best-in-class space; excellent hybrid powertrain; sharp interior style; Honda dependabilityCould be better: No lower-price base trim levels; no sporty or off-road niche models; no plug-in hybrid Read our full 2024 Honda CR-V Review Consider the CR-V the baseline for any compact SUV search, and look extra closely at the superb CR-V Hybrid option. Objectively speaking, it's tough to beat due to its massive cargo capacity, voluminous back seat, strong-yet-efficient engines, well-balanced driving dynamics, competitive pricing and features,  and well-regarded reliability. It's easy to see why it continues to be such a best-seller: for the vast majority of compact SUV buyers, and especially families, it checks every box. That's been the case for many years now, however. The all-new 2023 Honda CR-V changes things up by adding a bit more style and character, particularly in terms of its interior design and how surprisingly enjoyable the Sport and Sport Touring hybrid trim levels are to drive.

Porsche Cayman GT4 speeds back into view

Tue, 18 Nov 2014

We're all familiar with the succession of numbers that follow the letters GT on a hard-core Porsche 911: the GT1 that was Stuttgart's Le Mans contender in the late 90s, the GT2 that packs turbochargers but without the Turbo's all-wheel drive and excess weight, and the naturally aspirated GT3 that's the enthusiast's choice. But a GT4? That's something new, and exactly what Porsche has in store.
Spied testing in Germany once again is the upcoming GT4 version of the Porsche Cayman, set to supersede the existing GTS and take the place of the previous Cayman R at the top of Porsche's junior sports car range. This latest batch of spy shots doesn't show us much more than the last crop, but gives us a much clearer view at what promises to be the most hardcore Cayman to date.
As you can see, the Cayman GT4 packs a much more aggressive aero kit and rolling stock than any version we've seen to date. It's got a lip spoiler, big air dam and GT3-style vent in front of the hood, deep air scoops along the flanks, a set of spindly alloys packing oversized brakes, a diffuser with twin central exhaust tips around back and a rear wing that's likely to be replaced with a sleeker unit before the GT4 reaches production.

All Porsche 911s to get turbos in 2015?

Sun, 19 Oct 2014

Currently, Porsche builds two turbocharged 911s - the Turbo and the Turbo S (and their cabriolet counterparts). The rest of the 911 range, meanwhile, is motivated by either 3.4- or 3.8-liter flat-sixes of varying outputs. This clear separation could be set to change in the very near future, though, as rumors continue to swirl that Porsche's rear-engined range could switch exclusively to turbocharged power.
This time, it's Car projecting that the 911 range will go turbocharged as part of a mid-cycle refresh, with the base Carrera's 3.4-liter dropping to 2.9 liters and adding an iron lung, bumping the entry level 911 up to 400 horsepower. Yes, a 400-horsepower, entry level 911. The Carrera S, meanwhile, will retain its 3.8-liter engine, but will also benefit from turbocharging, increasing output to 530 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque. So basically, it sounds like the current, 520-hp 911 Turbo will become the next Carrera S.
What does that mean for Porsche's traditional high-performance models? Well, it's a safe bet that the Turbo, Turbo S and eventual GT2 will be producing seriously huge power figures. Based on pure speculation, we wouldn't be shocked to see a 600-hp Turbo, with the S and GT2 increasing output markedly from there.
