Up for auction is a very nice 76 Porsche 912e.. the pictures speak for themselves.. the car has some dirt on the tires from the last car show it was at.. The car has a current PA inspection.. there are some rare options on this car.. I forget what they are now.. I have too many cars and also have some other ones for sale in other auctions.. there are 118k miles on this car.. mostly everything in the car is original so it has just been kept nice over the years unlike a lot of other cars that were garbage then completely redone.. so that being said I would say this is a very nice driver because it does show signs of it being an older well kept car.. the ac belt is off due to never using it but I wanted to keep the unit into place. I am sure you guys know what you are looking at and realize how rare these one year 912e cars are so if you want to see it or talk about it with any more questions just email or give me a ring.. 717 856 3026.. thanks for looking.. also.. I have no idea why the subtitle says rare sunroof.. this car does not have a sunroof.. sorry for the confusion.. ebay wont let me change the subtitle..

Porsche prioritizes 200,000-unit sales target over exclusivity [w/poll]
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Would a Porsche still be a Porsche if it weren't as exclusive? That's the question which industry pundits are asking - and customers may soon as well - as the German automaker emerges from the fringe in pursuit of larger volumes.
A dozen years ago Porsche was barely selling over 50,000 units per annum. In a sales surge that has gathered pace as fast as a 911 Turbo, however, it was already hovering around the 100,000-unit mark a few years later. Last year it sold over 160,000, and has targeted 200,000 units by 2018. But it may not even take that long.
Automotive News reports that Porsche has advanced its targets to reach for 200,000 units by the end of this year or the next. The bump in sales would be driven particularly by the introduction of the new Macan, of which it aims to sell 50,000 units annually, starting next year. The Cayenne currently stands far and away as its most successful model. The 911 and Panamera have swapped second place a few times over the past five years, followed by the Boxster and Cayman.

Experience Daytona in 27,894 photos
Thu, Apr 7 2016This "video" of the 24 Hours of Daytona is composed from tens of thousands of individual photographs that have been put together into an intriguing but jolty moving picture show. The project was shot at the 24 Hours of Daytona. It was commissioned by Porsche from photographers Camden Trasher and Zach Miller, who pieced it together from no less than 27,894 photographs they shot at the sports car racing season opener in Florida in January. Porsche has won the Daytona endurance race more than any other manufacturer, with 18 overall wins to its name – way ahead of second-place Riley whose Daytona prototypes have dominated the race in recent history with 10 wins from 2005 through 2015. This year an LMP2 prototype built by Ligier and powered by Honda won for the first time, with the Corvette team dominating the GT categories. Porsches came in third in GTLM and second in the GTD class. Related Video:
