Thanks for looking.  I never intended on selling her.  I bought her with the intention of keeping for the rest of my life.  I have sparred no expense in the care and restoration of this Porsche.  There are way way to many things to list that have been replaced or upgraded.  I have a more pictures if needed as well.  I'll start by listing some of the major improvements.
1. new tires, Hankook v12 evo
2. new custom rims, Victor Equipment with custom powder coat black interior paint and Guards Red lips. (the same color as the car) Victor Equipment are manufactured to exact Porsche specs. (no inserts or spacers)
3. new brakes all around.  rotors, pads, disc'  Everything I have done is with Porsche OEM
4. new clutch and all clutch components i.e,  bearings ect.
5. A/C has been removed and completely gone over.  It works perfectly.
6. Main seal bearing was replaced and everything associated with it. (way to much to list)
7. All valve cover gaskets replaced (one month ago).
8. ABS pump has been thoroughly flushed and working perfectly.
9. Windshield is brand new (and for those familiar, once the windshield is replaced Porsche recommends that sealant be injected in key locations throughout the window frame)
10.The car has had an extensive tune up sparing no cost.  new plugs, wires, Oil ect.
11.Oil has been changed with top of line sinthetics three times in 8000 miles.
12.All of the cables on the convertible top have been replaced.
The list of work goes on and on....All of the work has been done by Vinnie at Gulf Performance of Fort Lauderdale.
A little history on the car:  I bought the car a few years ago from a friend in Washington State.  He bought it from his friend who bought it brand new.  The car has always been garage kept by all three of us.  The paint and interior are in excellent condition and the car runs perfectly.  I have been restoring it since I bought it.  I drive it only on perfect days and detail it often.  I truly believe this is one of if not the nicest 1995 Porsche out there today.  I encourage anyone to have a pre-buyer inspection done.  At this point in the restoration the only thing left to do is the top, but I think it's in very good condition.  If you look at the pictures you can see a little separation on the top-back window.  Other than that it is in pretty good shape.  Last year while driving on I95 a pickup truck I was following had some trash fall off and a bolt ( at least I think it was a bolt) bounced off the road and cracked the windshield.  Insurance paid for the damage and I replaced it.
I think I have all of the records for everything I've done and would be happy to answer any questions.
I bought the car with the intention of keeping it.  I think you will find that it shows that way.  In the last three years I have put well of $20,000 Dollars into the car.  If you buy this car you are buying a 34,000 mile car with every major Porsche component already replaced.  In my opinion it is better then the day it rolled out over 18 years ago.

Porsche Cayman gets a new face

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

We've already seen photos of the facelifted Porsche Boxster out testing, but we're now seeing these same changes making their way onto the hardtop Cayman coupe. Cosmetically, the next round of Porsche's smallest sports cars isn't vastly different, with redesigned headlamps, LED running lights (like its big brother, the 911), and new taillamps that actually aren't visible on the prototype seen here.
The big news for the updated Boxster/Cayman range is the long-rumored four-cylinder engine. Recent reports suggest we could see four-pots with displacements of 1.6, 2.0, or 2.5 liters, and with output ratings as high as 360 horsepower. Of course, these new four-cylinder mills would be both turbocharged and direct-injected.
It's unclear whether or not the six-cylinder engine range will also be updated when this new Cayman comes to market. In any case, we expect to see it bow in the relatively near future. Stay tuned.

Porsche finally gives up the goods on 2014 Macan

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Preparing a beachhead in the marketplace for the 2014 Porsche Macan crossover has been a years-long project for the German company. We've been hearing and reporting on rumors of the vehicle from its ideation stage and have covered the Macan's birth thoroughly over the last 12 months, including teasers, rumors, spy shots, leaked videos and more. Now, just ahead of the LA Auto Show-debut of Porsche's first-ever compact crossover, the wait for details is at an end.
Porsche will offer the crossover in two flavors to start: Macan S and Macan Turbo. The S model will be fitted with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that makes 340 horsepower and will push the vehicle from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.2 seconds, then on to a top speed of 156 miles per hour. The Macan Turbo has even more impressive figures on all fronts: an all-new, 400-horsepower, twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine; 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds; top speed of 164 mph. Both models make use of Porsche's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission as standard.
As impressive as these potent powertrains are the brakes Porsche is fitting to its new crossover. Six-piston monobloc fixed-caliper brakes live up front, grabbing 13.78-inch discs on the S model and tremendous 14.17-inch discs on the Macan Turbo. We're expecting serious stopping performance, to say the least.

Watch the Porsche 911 R rip through the mountains

Thu, Mar 3 2016

A few days ago, the top-tier driver's Porsches, the 911 GT3 and GT3 RS, were the only game in town. Both are exclusively equipped with the technically excellent PDK, a dual-clutch gearbox virtually without equal. Of course, lots of folks, including Porsche die-hards, wanted to do it themselves, even if human shifts came at the expense of milliseconds of shift time. Porsche listened. You read all about the new 911 R two days ago when it was announced (if not, watch the video and then dive into the particulars at that link). It's an unabashed gift to that vocal minority. The folks that wanted a manual GT3 got one, and it's better than that. It's a throwback to the original 911 R, stripped of weight and unsightly aero bits like the massive rear wing of the GT3. There's even houndstooth-patterned cloth on the sport seats. It's a brilliant homage, without being overly retro. But how does it sound, and look in motion? See for yourself. We humbly suggest minding where the drool lands. Related Video: Porsche Coupe Performance Videos 911 porsche 911 r 911 r
