2002 Porsche 911 Turbo 6 speed manual for sale in Zanzibar red 63,939 mileage in Excellent condition no accidents, clear title. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION & the start list price is $8,500 under KBB. It's priced the way it is so I can sell it as is and sell it fast because I'm expecting a child. Let me start by saying this vehicle has been sheltered and alot of time, money, and effort has been invested into it. The car is mechanically sound and runs beautifully! It is one of the finest driving machines I have owned and I have had them all...but the reputation of Porsche and the car speaks for itself. I understand its hard for some of you to come view the vehicle in person. If you would like to have the vehicle inspected before purchase at your expense, I have no problem with that.

Exterior: of the vehicle is NOT in perfect condition there is average wear on the front bumper from small road debris, the spoiler has a small scratch about 1 inch long yes 1 inch, small knick on bumper where passenger headlight and bumper meet, two of the rims have small knicks from road debris (very minor) I'm a stickler for detail and I'm very particular about my cars, so I thought would list everything up front. Aside from those minor things the exterior of the vehicle is beautiful, paint is always taken care and is swirl free! Car has been clayed, and regularly polished and waxed. There are no dents and car is always garaged NOT DAILY DRIVEN.

Interior: looks great! Leather seats in the back flawless, Front seats upgraded to Sparco racing seats with 4 point harnesses and an easy seat belt clicker did away with the cam lock harnesses due to practicality. The factory seats have been sold. The vehicle came factory with a cassette player which I was very disappointed with in such a high end car as such. I decided to upgrade to a touch screen sony stereo which sounds amazing crisp and loud. Plays DVD, blu tooth, aux, etc. Carbon Fiber door sills "TURBO" have been added from Italy. Rennline track floor matts included. Tinted windows with Madico wincos high end tint blocks this crazy Texas heat out.

Engine/suspension: Factory the 996 turbo comes with 420 hp. This engine has a custom turbo back catless exhaust system  that spits fire and sounds like nothing you have ever heard....just amazing. Also includes 997 exhaust tips. No you will not have problems with getting a safety inspection sticker. Vehicle has been flashed/tuned, K&N air filter, colder plugs, agency power diverter valves which produces roughly 530 hp. The car has been tuned with nothing too aggressive so it could be driven daily if desired. Rennline toe control arm kit has been installed in the rear. H&R springs are installed to give the car better handling. Upgraded slotted front rotors, and crossed drilled slotted rear rotors, and all new pads changed out recently installed about 2 months ago and sometimes squeak at very low speeds. All the tires have been replaced about 4 months back with Hankook V12's and have excellent tread life still. Dash has a few lights ABS/psm light is on because car needs a new mass air flow sensor. The airbag light is on because the racing seats were installed and it was never cleared by dealership, and last the spoiler light comes on sometimes because the spoiler is malfunctioning and is locked in the raised position most likely needs hydraulic fluid(common issue with the 996 Turbo). None of these issues effect the performance of the vehicle. Again the car is mechanically sound there are NO issues with the motor on this car it runs strong and is an absolute thrill to drive. Everything with the motor has been professionally done by MPOWER in Houston Texas. Suspension, tires and brakes have been done by Espino Wheel & Tire in San Antonio, Texas.  If you have any concerns I can provide contact information for the shops.

I have set this auction with NO RESERVE. I want the buyer to be happy with the purchase and have described the vehicle to the best of my ability. Positive feedback is appreciated! I have been getting a lot of great questions feel free to shoot more my way 210-954-2545 Happy Bidding- Phillip.

VW Group to split brands under four holding companies

Tue, Jun 16 2015

The Volkswagen Group is planning a tremendous shift in its internal structure that will decentralize operations by splitting its 12 brands into four different holding companies. Here's the breakdown. Things will be split logically, considering the inter-sharing of parts, platforms, and engines. The Volkswagen brand, Seat, and Skoda make up a passenger vehicle division led by former BMW man Herbert Diess. Audi, which is tightly intertwined with Lamborghini and motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, will be managed by current Audi exec Rupert Stadler. Porsche and Bentley, which are already quite close, will be joined by Bugatti and run by Matthias Mueller. Finally, a commercial vehicles division will include Volkswagen Commercial, Scania, and Man. Former Daimler exec Andreas Renschler will take care of the big vehicles. The massive move, according to Automotive News Europe, is part of an internal VAG effort to move away from the structure established by ousted Chairman Ferdinand Piech, who favored a compact, but highly centralized, management structure to oversee the independent actions of the company's brands. Criticism of Piech's arrangement stemmed from the company's slow responses to changes in the market, ANE reports. The new structure should make for a more efficient, streamlined company that's better able to make crucial decisions. What are your thoughts? Should VAG decentralize, or did Piech have the right idea? Have your say in Comments.

2015 Porsche Cayenne S

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

Oh, Porsche.
Just as the dust settles over the 911 GT3's no manual gearbox kerfuffle, the Germans have gone and yanked the yummy naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 from the Cayenne S and replaced it with a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6. Is nothing sacred in Porscheland?
Perhaps not... but that's not necessarily a bad thing. After all, Porsche famously once said they'd never build a diesel, but when they did, it was actually rather stellar.
