I have a 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera for sale. It has a Red Exterior with Black Leather Interior. It has 161,000 miles and has been garage kept. The original paint is in great shape considering its age and regular wear. I am the third owner of this vehicle, and it has never been wrecked. It has brand new Goodyear tires. The engine runs extremely well. Everything on the engine has been replaced, including a new aluminum alternator bracket instead of the factory one. It also has Rockford Fosgate speakers and amplifier. The front seats have been replaced with new leather exactly like it appeared in 1986, and the seats have little wear and are in wonderful condition. The engine is 3.2 L. The electric driver seat works, the electric mirrors work, and the sun roof is completely functioning. The car has no rust, the AC and heat work well. The car also has the original Porsche Tool Pouch with all of the original tools. It also has an original whale tail for the optimal driving experience, especially at high speeds.

VW Group to split brands under four holding companies

The Volkswagen Group is planning a tremendous shift in its internal structure that will decentralize operations by splitting its 12 brands into four different holding companies. Here's the breakdown. Things will be split logically, considering the inter-sharing of parts, platforms, and engines. The Volkswagen brand, Seat, and Skoda make up a passenger vehicle division led by former BMW man Herbert Diess. Audi, which is tightly intertwined with Lamborghini and motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, will be managed by current Audi exec Rupert Stadler. Porsche and Bentley, which are already quite close, will be joined by Bugatti and run by Matthias Mueller. Finally, a commercial vehicles division will include Volkswagen Commercial, Scania, and Man. Former Daimler exec Andreas Renschler will take care of the big vehicles. The massive move, according to Automotive News Europe, is part of an internal VAG effort to move away from the structure established by ousted Chairman Ferdinand Piech, who favored a compact, but highly centralized, management structure to oversee the independent actions of the company's brands. Criticism of Piech's arrangement stemmed from the company's slow responses to changes in the market, ANE reports. The new structure should make for a more efficient, streamlined company that's better able to make crucial decisions. What are your thoughts? The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.
