2008 911 Carrera S with all the right options MANUAL and VERY low miles!
TITLE IN HAND!
Selling my 2008 Carrera S. Clean CarFax and Auto Check. This car is amazing! NAV, Sport Button, Sport
Chronograph, Heated Seats, Turbo Wheels, Bose High End, Meteor Grey Metallic, Black Top and Interior.
I've owned it since 2012 and and since then only put 8k miles it. Most of the miles were highway from MD to MA.
I haven't been driving the car enough and its too nice to let sit. We have other cars that we drive much more
frequently. I decided to list the car for sale and will let it go if I get what I believe the car is worth.
If you're a Porsche enthusiast this is the one you've been searching for. This car took months to find. It has
all the options that I was looking for including color combination.
I had Porsche of Annapolis go over it to verify there wasn't any paintwork with a paint meter and do a pre
inspection before I purchased it.
ALL SERVICE DONE BY PORSCHE. I've had everything serviced and taken care of from the day I bought it when the
dealership recommended to do so.
New tires and service less than 500 miles ago.
There is nothing to do to this car! Comes with Porsche trickle charge, Porsche factory cover and windscreen.
When I had the car serviced they couldn't believe how clean the vehicle is! I hate to see it go. I even offered
to let my wife take the car because she wants a convertible. That won't work because we can't fit a child seat in
the back for our 4yr old.

Porsche Panamera Turbo S vs Ariel Atom Supercharged in unlikely drag battle

Thu, 01 May 2014

David versus Goliath battles are always an enticing proposition, because they offer the chance to watch scrappy underdogs take on their bigger rivals. Evo has set up just such a battle with its latest drag race between the minimalist Ariel Atom 3.5 Supercharged (Ariel Atom 3 pictured below) and the plush Porsche Panamera Turbo S.
The two cars couldn't be more different. The Atom personifies Lotus founder Colin Chapman's well-known axiom: "Simplify, then add lightness." Most of the car doesn't even have a body; it's just an exposed frame with a 310 horsepower supercharged Honda four-cylinder mounted behind the driver. On the other side, there's the Panamera Turbo S. In the latest version, it packs 570 hp and 553 pound-feet from its 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 and it features all-wheel drive. Of course, all of that comes with a significant weight penalty.
Off the line, the differences are even more apparent. The Atom doesn't have any of the Porsche's technological wizardry, so launching it challenges the driver to build the revs and let out the clutch just right. The car screams like a banshee as it goes, though. The Porsche is the exact opposite. Its launch control system lets the driver hold down the brake, get on the throttle and accelerate away in just the right way.

2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed statue unveiled

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Each year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a single marque is celebrated with a large and ornate "Central Feature" sculpture, with recent automakers including Audi in 2009, Alfa Romeo in 2010, Jaguar in 2011 and Lotus last year. This year, Porsche gets the honor, and it is using the opportunity to commemorate 50 years of the 911.
The sculpture features three generations of the 911 towering over the Goodwood House. The most recent 991 911 has the lowest position, with an original 1963 car second highest and a 1973 2.7 RS at the top of the pile. Be sure to check out the sculpture for yourself in the gallery of images above.

New details mooted about Porsche's '988' Ferrari rival

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

We could be on the verge of a big expansion at everyone's favorite rear-engined German sports car manufacturer. Porsche is allegedly preparing a four-car assault that will be led by a proper challenger to the Ferrari 458 Italia (sorry 911).
Code-named "988," the new model will reportedly feature a mid-engined layout and, get this: a flat-8. Autocar, which has the story, expects that engine to displace about 4.0 liters, while the car itself will draw styling inspiration from the 918 Spyder. 600 ponies and over 400 super-accessible pound-feet of torque should be on tap with the new mill.
Joining the 988's supposed eight-cylinder is a new family of four- and six-cylinder boxer engines that Autocar claims will have a focus on power density and fuel economy. These new mills will be available in naturally aspirated, turbocharged and hybrid forms.
