If you're looking for a car that looks new and drives flawlessly - you will love this gorgeous C4S that is loaded with options and has always been garaged and parked under cover.  High sheen metallic paint looks factory fresh and this car has no dings!  Smoke free cabin with pristine, soft and supple black leather.  The interior is spotless, with no signs of wear and the floor mats are new.  All Porsche service records are included and the owners manuals are complete inside the original Porsche portfolio.  Both keys are included along with the Valet Key.

The Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires have only 7k miles on them and Porsche replaced the clutch 6k miles ago.  The A/C blows icy cold and there are no rattles or noises to be heard.  There are a few really tiny stone chips up front that have been painted and there are a few small scrapes on rims that are not noticeable unless you're looking.  The steering and suspension are tight, the engine is strong, there are no mechanical issues and no services due.  This is a car that draws lots of attention and is a joy to drive.  It's well priced 10% under Kelly Blue Book.

Porsche 911 GT3 wows the crowds in Geneva

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Porsche has a long and storied history of taking its range-topping 911 sportscar racing, with an enviable record of achievements in tow. The latest machine with which the automaker will take to the track can be seen above: the fifth-generation 2014 911 GT3.
With 475 horsepower strumming through the 3.8-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, this is the pinnacle of naturally aspirated performance from Porsche. It can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.3 seconds, hit a top speed of 195 miles per hour and has lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in less than seven and a half minutes.
A dual-clutch PDK transmission (no standard manual gearbox will be offered) with shorter gearing than lesser 911 models sends power to the rear wheels. Providing forward motion isn't the only thing those rear wheels will be doing - Porsche says the 2014 911 GT3 is fitted with the manufacturer's first active rear-wheel steering.

Our hats are off to Porsche's 2014 911 Turbo Cabriolets

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Porsche has just debuted its two latest decapitated rocket sleds today at the LA Auto Show, the new 911 Turbo Cabriolet and Turbo S Cabriolet, which share their coupe counterparts' 520-horsepower and 560-hp 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engines. That kind of power ought separate a lot of hats (and toupees!) from heads.
The rear-engined Porsches put their power down through all four wheels, which allows them to launch from 0-60 in 3.3 seconds or less (the Turbo S Cab takes just 3.1 seconds), and both of them top out at 195 mph.
The 911 Turbo Cabriolet starts at $160,700, while the Turbo S Cabriolet can be had for a grand total of $193,900 (plus $950 for destination). Is the S model's 40 extra horsepower worth $33,200? We're not so sure, but we imagine Porsche won't have any trouble selling it.

Porsche gives Nick Murray exactly what he deserved [w/video]

Sat, 19 Apr 2014

The tale of Nick Murray and his lemon Porsche 911 appears to have come to a satisfactory end. As noted in the original story about Murray, he and Porsche Cars North America met and came to a resolution. However, we didn't know exactly what that meant, until now.
Murray has created a new video explaining that PCNA offered to buy back the car at full price or give him an exact replacement for it. This was exactly what he was asking for. Murray remains pro-Porsche in the new video. "I am definitely considering reordering a Porsche 911," he says.
Porsche also posted a message on its Facebook page that clarified the situation. "We at Porsche have always sought excellence in all that we do. We know you expect it of us. And when we don't meet that standard, we make every effort to improve," said a portion of the note.
