This Florida car was purchased from an insurance auction and was described as being flood damaged.  The vehicle's alarm module, which sits in the absolute lowest part of the interior had become wet and subsequently failed.  This was the only reason for the vehicle being totaled out by the insurance company, and I have a copy of the original damage report from them to prove it.  A copy is available on request.  It is pretty well documented online that the alarm module location in these vehicles is probably in the worst possible spot for such an important module.  Pretty much every other module runs through the alarm module and if that module fails, the whole car becomes inoperable.  When we took delivery of the vehicle, there was no water in it and after thorough inspection by the local Porsche specialist, there were no other electronics affected by whatever water entered the car.  There was no stale odor in the vehicle at that time, nor is there now.  We promptly ordered and installed a brand new alarm module from Porsche, for which we have invoices for, programmed it to the vehicle and started her right up.  Additionally, we had the LN Engineering IMS Retrofit Bearing installed(2500.00 Job), which also is very well documented online as a MUST have for this vehicle.  Beyond that, a fresh oil change and a new set of tires were given to this fine automobile and that's the way she sits right now, waiting for a new owner.  Once all of this was done, the vehicle went for Pennsylvania Salvage inspection, where they verify the repairs and do a COMPLETE mechanical inspection on the vehicle and naturally it passed and now has a Reconstructed Flood Title.

Copies of all documentation(repair orders, invoices, etc) available in .pdf form via email for anyone who is seriously interested in buying the car.

.99 No Reserve Auction, this Porsche will be sold to the highest bidder, or save some time and money and use the buy it now!

500.00 deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, balance due via wire transfer or COD certified funds/cash.  We can arrange transport from Philadelphia International Airport or Atlantic City Airport at no additional charge.  This vehicle is fully serviced and ready to drive wherever you need to go.  If you prefer to have the vehicle delivered, I can arrange transport to anywhere in the USA, though I strongly suggest that the buyer pick the vehicle up in person.

If you have any questions whatsoever, which on a vehicle like this I suspect you may, please email me here, or call/text me at any time at 484-548-0563

Here's the stunning Porsche Vision GT car we can't have

Wed, Jul 13 2016

By now you've seen plenty of the Vision Gran Turismo cars featured in Gran Turismo 6. These are radical designs from real car designers at major automakers – some exist purely digitally for gameplay, while others have been rendered as show cars as well. Participating companies range from Hyundai to Aston Martin, but one notable exception is Porsche. All of Porsche's cars have been absent from Gran Turismo ever since the first game due to licensing issues, some of which have also plagued other game developers. However, a small, independent team of designers decided that wouldn't stop them from coming up with their own concept of a Porsche concept for the game. The team consisted of six people from around the globe – five automotive designers and one expert photo retoucher. They say their inspiration was the 1969 Porsche 908 LH race car, and this 908-04 certainly shares the classic racer's lengthy tail. The design also borrows from some current Porsche designs, including the 918 Spyder, the 919 Hybrid racecar, and the Mission E electric concept that has been greenlit for production. Creating a raw, visceral, simple machine seems to be the goal of their design, as they say it is "a purely manual car" and that they want it to "give you goose bumps just by imagining yourself driving it." It's not meant to be a fantastical concept either, as the designers state they aimed to make it so someone could realistically fit inside and drive. Which is more than can be said for the laser-propelled Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo. We'll only be able to imagine ourselves driving it, though, as this is not an official concept from Porsche. And even if it was, it's highly unlikely Polyphony Digital would go through the necessary hoops to get Porsche in the game. Instead, we can just drool. To see more of this stylish hypothetical Porsche and read more of the backstory, check out the designers' website at www.porschevisiongt.com. Porsche testing four-cylinder Boxster at the N?rburgring

Fri, 09 May 2014

Porsche recently introduced a four-cylinder version of the new Macan for markets outside of North America, carrying Zuffenhausen's first four-pot since the 968 ended its production run the better part of two decades ago. But you can bet the compact crossover won't be the only Porsche to get the four banger before all's said and done. These spy shots, we're told, are evidence of just that.
Spotted undergoing testing at the Nürburgring (where else), this modified Boxster, our spy photographers tell us, sounds more like a four-cylinder engine than the flat six that's powered (in displacements ranging from 2.5 liters to 3.4) every version of the little roadster since its introduction in 1996, the year after the last four-cylinder Porsche ended production.
The test mule is also wearing modified wheel arches and aerodynamic aids under the bumpers, front and rear. Just what they're doing there we're not sure, but we'll probably find out sooner or later.

Porsche 911 GT3 wows the crowds in Geneva

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Porsche has a long and storied history of taking its range-topping 911 sportscar racing, with an enviable record of achievements in tow. The latest machine with which the automaker will take to the track can be seen above: the fifth-generation 2014 911 GT3.
With 475 horsepower strumming through the 3.8-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, this is the pinnacle of naturally aspirated performance from Porsche. It can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.3 seconds, hit a top speed of 195 miles per hour and has lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in less than seven and a half minutes.
A dual-clutch PDK transmission (no standard manual gearbox will be offered) with shorter gearing than lesser 911 models sends power to the rear wheels. Providing forward motion isn't the only thing those rear wheels will be doing - Porsche says the 2014 911 GT3 is fitted with the manufacturer's first active rear-wheel steering.
