You are bidding on a beautiful 1991 Porsche 911 Turbo.  I have owned this car for about 8 years and it has been kept in a heated and cooled garage since I have had it.  This work of art only has 61, 407 miles on her.  I would normally say that that could change based on me driving it but I never drive it the rain, snow or even in the winter.  This Turbo is equipped with an awesome sounding aftermarket exhaust system, 18 inch Antera wheels, BF Goodrich tires and a custom Alpine sound system with 2 Alpine Crossovers, 2 Alpine power amplifiers and a 6 disc Alpine CD changer with custom rear speakers including a subwoofer.  The body is in great shape with the exception of a small dent on the left front fender and some rash on the lower front of both rear quarter panels which is common on these cars due to the wide body and an easy fix (see pictures).  Everything works on this car and the air is ice cold.  Notable among its standard features are power rack-and-pinion steering, power four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, headlight washers, integral fog lights, heavy-duty windshield cleaning system with heated washer nozzles, power adjustable reclining front bucket seats, airbags for both driver and front-seat passenger, automatic full climate control, one-key central locking and alarm system, electric sliding sunroof, and on-board computer.  I always encourage a personal inspection if possible or you can have someone else look at it for you.  This car is an absolute rocket, sticks to the road like glue and is a blast to drive.  I was out to dinner in it last summer and I overheard someone asking their friend if he saw that “NEW” Porsche in the parking lot.  I am a dealer and must collect sales tax in some states.  There are no other fees associated with this transaction from me.  Bid with confidence.  I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as I have the car for sale locally as well.  If you have 0 feedback contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid.  I will store the car for you for up to a month, after payment, if needed.  If you have any questions you can email me or call 937-926-4779.  Thanks and Happy bidding, Jack.

2017 Porsche Panamera caught testing without camo

Mon, Mar 14 2016

One of these days, Porsche is going to introduce the 2017 Panamera. That day is not today, though, so we've got yet another round of spy photos showing the new sedan undergoing winter testing. This is easily the closest we've seen to a production body on the new Panamera – it's completely free of camouflage aside from the unconvincing stickers over the headlights and taillights. They're not very good, though. We can see the taillights will adopt a similar look to the new 911 Β– they'll be slim LEDs that occupy a lot less space than on the current car. The headlights are slimmer too, but there's no light being shown through the stickers, so we can't discuss actual changes as easily as we can on the tail. As we've said before, the Sport Turismo Concept styling has been plainly converted to create an evolved version of the Panamera's existing design language. According to our spies, the next Panamera will ride on a new MSB platform that aims to slash 200 pounds of fat from the next-gen model. Aluminum and high-strength steel play a big roll in that weight loss. Underhood, there should be the usual range of six- and eight-cylinder engines with a plug-in-hybrid option. As we reported previously, expect the Panamera to show up at a European show, likely Paris or possibly Geneva in 2017. Related Video:

Remembering Porsche's illustrious Le Mans history

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

Not only does this weekend mark the running of the 82nd 24 Hours of Le Mans, it will also see the return of one of the race's most venerable brands to the top tiers of endurance racing. Porsche will campaign its first top-flight car since the 1998 911 GT1-98, the 919 Hybrid, at this weekend's race, in the hopes of knocking off its corporate rival, the dominant Audi team.
To understand just what a win for the 919 would mean, though, you need to look back on the intrinsic connection between the Circuit de la Sarthe and Porsche. It's a history that spans decades, dating back to the team's first win in 1970.
XCar has a great video on that history. At 25 minutes, it's a bit on the long side. Then again it is the Friday before Le Mans. Take a look below for the video.

Porsche 911 GT2 test mule caught in the snow

Wed, Mar 9 2016

This may look like a weird, cobbled-together Porsche, but insiders tell us we're actually looking at the forthcoming GT2. Maybe even a GT2 RS. Those schooled in the intricacies of Zuffenhausen nomenclature will be suitably excited by now. But for the rest of us, the GT2 (with or without the RS) represents the pinnacle of the most hardcore 911s. It's essentially a 911 Turbo without the all-wheel drive but some other goodies thrown in – or to put it another way, it is to the Turbo what the GT3 is to the 911 Carrera. Porsche first did a 911 GT2 back in 1993 based on the 993-generation model. It then did another based on the 996, and then on the 997. But the last one we saw was the GT2 RS that came out in 2010, packing 612 horsepower channeled exclusively to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The German automaker didn't do a GT2 version of the 991, but now that the entire model line is undergoing a transformation Β– and an near-complete switch to turbo power Β– it apparently has another one in store for us. Aside from ditching the Turbo's all-wheel drive, the new GT2 will be lighter and pack more power Β– as much as 700 hp, from what we hear. As you can see from the spy shots, the test mule spotted romping in the snow is also wearing larger exhaust tips and the signature GT2 RS black hood. Expect the finished product to wear its own shoes and a more extreme aero kit as well. The question on everyone's minds will be whether it will, like the latest GT3 and GT3 RS, be offered only with a dual-clutch transmission, a conventional manual, or the buyer's choice of either. We'll find out sooner or later as the most extreme of Elfens is tipped to surface late next year. Related Video:
