1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet Thank you for viewing my auction. I have a nice 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet here. This 911 is originally from Walnut Creek, California. If you look at the Auto Check, the first 95K miles of the car's life were driven in CA! r The mileage reads 118,220. The color is Guards Red over Black leather interior, and the convertible top is Black. The convertible top is manually operated. The seats are the factory sport models. The car does not have the original wheels, the current wheels on the car are 17" staggered. Condition: This 911 shows well. The car has been repainted, and the job looks good. There are fish eyes present under the clear coat. The body is clean with no scratches or dents. There is no rot anywhere on the body or underneath. The interior shows very well, and the seats are like new. The carpets are nice and clean. The dash has no cracking. The convertible top is in excellent condition, no tares or cracks at all. The rear window in the top is clear and in good shape. The convertible top movement works as it should. All electronics operate fine with no issue. The A/C works great and blows cold. Mechanically: The engine is strong and starts right up with no smoke, ever. The clutch grabs and operates solid. The transmission shifts smoothly with no grinding. I have personally driven this car and engine pulls strong as it should, I put over 300 miles on the car. Additional Info: I have a lot of records for this Porsche. The original order options sticker is in the right spot under the front hood. I do not have the original wheels for this car. The history is clean showing 3 owners with no accidents. This 911 is a great driver, and would be a great addition to any collection. I wouldn't hesitate to take this car on a trip anywhere. If you have any questions about this Porsche call Jon @ 908-797-2669. Thank you |

2017 Porsche Panamera leaked looking sporty and sleek
Thu, Jun 23 2016The Internet isn't very good at keeping secrets. Someone got hold of some images of the 2017 Porsche Panamera ahead of its official debut next week and leaked them online. While that's bad news for Porsche, it's good news for the auto-loving masses, because the next Panamera is pretty darn... pretty. While the overall shape of the next-gen Panamera doesn't stray far from the car it replaces, the details make for a more cohesive overall package than before. It's clearly a Porsche, and obviously a Panamera (look, four doors and a hatchback!), but it's no longer bulbous or ungainly. Lighting front and rear is inspired by the latest 718 models, and the sleek bulging hood is apparently hiding a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. We expect a range of six- and eight-cylinder engines for production, along with a plug-in hybrid. Inside, the only analog gauge we see is a tachometer, helpfully placed directly in front of the driver. A quartet of digital dials flank the throwback tach, but we can't see much past that. There does appear to be a good amount of space for the rear-seat passengers, along with what looks to be a touch-sensitive control surface at the rear of the center console. We expect similar capacitive buttons for the front occupants, along with a large LCD infotainment screen. Take a look at the images above for an early glimpse at the 2017 Porsche Panamera. And stay tuned for all the details on June 28. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Watch the Chevy Corvette dismiss its Euro rivals at the hands of a Brit magazine
Sat, 08 Feb 2014European auto writers, especially the British, have a bit of a reputation for favoring their own domestic cars over foreign rivals in comparison tests. Just think about how many times you've heard Jeremy Clarkson deify the latest product of UK loins while denigrating an American rival as a hopeless "Yank Tank." However, we have to tip our hats to the folks at Autocar because in its latest video comparing the 2014 Corvette Stingray to the Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type V8 S and Audi R8, it's actually given the Vette a fair shake.
Autocar has put the Stingray through a battery of tests against what it considers to be the three best sports cars on sale in Europe today. And while the tests that it has chosen are somewhat random and subjective, it has concluded that the C7 can stand up against its rivals, even irrespective of its price. It's one thing to hear about how great the Stingray is from American writers, but it's great to know that not all Brits think we've gone crazy for calling the new Chevrolet "exquisite."

Watch the Porsche 911 GT3 RS become Lego reality
Tue, Jun 14 2016Lego might be a child's toy, but it enjoys a large following among adults. This has bred highly advanced, detailed creations, some of which take hours to build. Like the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Technic kit. The 2,704-piece kit's detail is remarkable. But the sheer array of parts doesn't really explain how long it takes to put together. For one, Brick Builder's 25-minute video, embedded above, is a time lapse. Yes, a 25-minute time lapse. It shows an assembly guide with 856 individual steps that looks like it's about two inches thick. There are less detailed owner's manuals. The video itself is mesmerizing. Watching each individual part come together into recognizable components is just like watching an actual car being assembled, only it's plastic instead of metal. In fact, guessing what the components will become is a big part of the fun. If you just want to see the body come together, you'll want to fast forward to segment three, around the 16-minute mark.
