We are selling our 1979 911SC Targa, We have owned for 8 years, i bought it for my wife for her 25th wedding anniversary and she does not like the standard transmission. We have only put on 800 miles since we owned it. That's why I am selling it, instead of sitting in our garage it needs somebody to drive it and enjoy it.
It has black after market seats in it now, it also includes the white original leather seats if you want them. New carpet installed a few years ago along with custom door panels that have the bottom storage removed, you can have the original storage included if you want them too.
Only damage is the rear red fog light cover is cracked, all else is in great shape.
As far as I can tell these are the original miles also. I have only changed oil in the engine, never did any work on it, all stock.
Brand new Fusion ZR1 tires also.
Thanks for looking!

Watch the Chevy Corvette dismiss its Euro rivals at the hands of a Brit magazine
Sat, 08 Feb 2014European auto writers, especially the British, have a bit of a reputation for favoring their own domestic cars over foreign rivals in comparison tests. Just think about how many times you've heard Jeremy Clarkson deify the latest product of UK loins while denigrating an American rival as a hopeless "Yank Tank." However, we have to tip our hats to the folks at Autocar because in its latest video comparing the 2014 Corvette Stingray to the Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type V8 S and Audi R8, it's actually given the Vette a fair shake.
Autocar has put the Stingray through a battery of tests against what it considers to be the three best sports cars on sale in Europe today. And while the tests that it has chosen are somewhat random and subjective, it has concluded that the C7 can stand up against its rivals, even irrespective of its price. It's one thing to hear about how great the Stingray is from American writers, but it's great to know that not all Brits think we've gone crazy for calling the new Chevrolet "exquisite."

Ex-F1 driver Mark Webber has tough life, shakes down Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Fri, Apr 24 2015It's good work if you can get it, and Mark Webber has got it. The works driver for the Porsche World Endurance Championship Team was apparently asked to moonlight in a video shoot for the company's new 911 GT3 RS at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, and what do you know, he complied. They don't appear to be going too quickly, and a racing driver asked to rein in what will be one of the most blistering cars we'll see this year must be very serious work, because Webber doesn't appear to be smiling at all. We'll guess there's a big smile on the inside, though, and some tales to tell to his Porsche teammates at the next WEC race. Maybe the next time we see the 911 GT3 RS at the 'Ring, it will be doing the timed lap we're all waiting for. Related Video:
Porsche Cayman gets a new face
Fri, 12 Sep 2014We've already seen photos of the facelifted Porsche Boxster out testing, but we're now seeing these same changes making their way onto the hardtop Cayman coupe. Cosmetically, the next round of Porsche's smallest sports cars isn't vastly different, with redesigned headlamps, LED running lights (like its big brother, the 911), and new taillamps that actually aren't visible on the prototype seen here.
The big news for the updated Boxster/Cayman range is the long-rumored four-cylinder engine. Recent reports suggest we could see four-pots with displacements of 1.6, 2.0, or 2.5 liters, and with output ratings as high as 360 horsepower. Of course, these new four-cylinder mills would be both turbocharged and direct-injected.
It's unclear whether or not the six-cylinder engine range will also be updated when this new Cayman comes to market. In any case, we expect to see it bow in the relatively near future. Stay tuned.
