Hi, you are looking at a fire damaged Trans Am. I have owned this car since 1991. It was my show car till a battery charger changed all of that back in February. The car got hot in a hurry. It was on the charger only 45 minutes. You can see in the photos all of the damage to the outside. On the inside, the car got smoked and steamed out. The seats were like new with two tone black/gray Katskin leather seats. The dash pad got melted close the windshield. Looking by the fuse box, it seems the wiring got pretty warm behind the dash on the driver's side. The car had a custom audio system in it and some of the plastic panels have been cut in the hatch and dash area. The carpet and headliner are like new. They might can be cleaned up with some cleaner. The custom billet steering wheel got steamy hot and it also might can be brought back to life. Before the fire, the motor and transmission performed perfectly. The car had only 74000 actual miles on it. The engine compartment looks bad, but I believe the inside of the motor should be good. The wheels are custom 16 inch Budnik billet wheels with the factory diameter and offset. The front driver's side wheel is still good. It just got the tire. I put the spare tire/wheel on and it is ready for transport. I am not for sure what the car is worth, so I will be taking some offers. If anyone has any questions please call 270-753-4621. Thanks for looking.

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
Looking back at Oprah's free-car giveaway 10 years later
Fri, 12 Sep 2014
Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."
GM recalling another 1.3-million cars over power steering woes
Mon, 31 Mar 2014When it rains, it pours. General Motors has announced yet another major recall, covering 1.3 million units in the American market over concerns that the power steering could suddenly fail. As reported by The Detroit News' David Shepardson, GM has now recalled nearly ten times as many cars as it did all of last year.
It's important to note that should this problem arise in these cars, the steering won't fail completely, however, power steering could suddenly stop functioning. Manual steering would still be possible, but as GM says, there's an increased risk of accidents, particularly at lower speeds.
Like the ignition switch recall, this latest problem covers a wide range of vehicles from Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac. Normally, we'd give you the full rundown in paragraph form, but the variety of models and model years means a list is just easier. So, have a look, directly from GM's press release:
