I am posting my one owner 1999 30th Anniversary Trans Am Ram Air WS6 with only 58k miles (limited production number 708). This car has approximately 590 horsepower. I have over $12,000 in motor upgrades...normally aspirated might I add+++++++++++++PRICED TO SELL!!! LOW RESERVE!!!!!!!!
I purchased the car new and have clear title in hand. Originally purchased in Houston and been here ever since. THIS IS A REAL 58K MILE CAR. The seats hardly even reflect that. The interior is immaculate and it has been pampered...and yes, even after all of the upgrades to the motor. The car has been stored and only driven to stay strong and responsive. It came with all of the options, T-tops, single CD AND 12 disc rear CD player. It is also a 6 speed.
Motor improvements: ProComp Camshaft, LS-6 Intake, Lingenfelter Heads, SLP long pipe headers, upgraded harmonic balancer, MTI air unit, performance throttlebody, performance catalytic converters, SLP 3" Y pipe, Borla Exhaust system, drilled rotors, powder coated brake calipers to match the anniversary blue, B & M Ripper Shifter, Computer Upgrades, etc. There are some other things done, so if we are close to a deal, we can discuss further...you get the picture.
I love this car and don't want to sell it.
THE CAR COMES WITH AN OFFICIAL 30TH ANNIVERSARY CAR COVER PURCHASED FROM THE DEALER WITH LOCK AND CABLE TO SECURE, ANNIVERSARY OWNERS MANUAL COVER (HARD TO FIND IN USED 30TH), AND THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY MAT THAT GOES IN BACK OF CAR (ALSO HARD TO FIND IN USED 30TH).

Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.
NHTSA investigating 550k Pontiac G6 models, 320k Honda Odysseys
Mon, 10 Jun 2013According to two separate reports in The Detroit News, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is launching investigations into 550,000 Pontiac G6 (pictured above) and 320,000 Honda Odyssey (pictured right) models. The G6 models are all from the 2005 to 2007 model years, while the Odyssey minivans are from the 2003 and 2004 model years. The two NHTSA probes are not related.
In the case of the G6, this is an upgrade to an original investigation that started in February after NHTSA received "hundreds of reports" that the brake lights on these cars may malfunction. According to The Detroit News, the lights may come on when the brake pedal is not depressed, and likewise, the brake lights may not illuminate when the pedal has been pushed. General Motors was able to provide NHTSA with a significant number of warranty claims, including 1,100 reports that could potentially relate to this problem, one of which indicates a vehicle crash.
For Honda, the NHTSA probe concerns airbags that may deploy unexpectedly. The government agency received six complaints from 2003-04 Odyssey owners saying that the front airbags suddenly went off without a crash. The Detroit News reports that three of the six owners sustained injuries from these incidents. Additionally, NHTSA has received 41 complaints from owners saying the vehicle's airbag warning light had illuminated.
General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]
Fri, 26 Aug 2011You don't have to be born in the 1960s or 1970s to be able to recognize the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard and the Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
More importantly, which of these two cars would you rather own? Have your say in our poll below.
