You are looking at a 1991 Pontiac Trans Am GTA 350. This vehicle is in excellent condition and super clean inside and out with no rust on the body. It has the gold and silver GTA style wheels which are in excellent condition. The paint is original brilliant red metallic and is in very good condition. I would rate it an 8.5 out of 10 but please judge for yourself based on the pictures. The drivetrain consists of the original TPI 350 V8 with a 700R4 transmission with 98,400 original miles on the odometer. The rear spoiler was starting to peel slightly (very common on these cars) so I removed it and had it professionally repainted last month and it looks perfect. This GTA fires right up every time and runs very strong and shifts good. The interior is black and in excellent condition with no tears in the leather. The dash and headliner are perfect. Everything is in good working order including, power steering, power brakes, pop-up headlamps, all accessory lighting, power windows, power mirrors, electronic hatch release, windshield wipers, fog lights, CD-Player, radio, power antennae, heat, AC, power seats, gauges, etc… This car 23 years old and in very nice condition but not a 100% restored show car so expect a rock chip or scratch here and there. eBay Find of the Day: 1967 Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile
Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.

GM recalls 61k more vehicles in three campaigns
Sun, 05 Oct 2014Following a stop-delivery order for its new midsize trucks and a rash of recent recalls, General Motors is issuing three more campaigns covering 60,575 vehicles in North America with 57,182 of them in the US. As of October 1, the automaker has issued a total of 74 recalls (see the ridiculously long chart to the right) this year covering 26,495,070 units in the US.
The largest campaign covers 46,873 examples in the US of the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 and 2011-2013 Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle imported from Australia. It's possible for the driver's knee to hit the key and make it move from the "Run" to "ACC" position while driving. GM says its Holden division is developing a fixed-blade key that's supposed to fix the problem by only allowing it to rotate toward the "On" position. There has been one crash caused by this fault but no injuries or fatalities.
The second recall is for 10,005 units of the 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V and 2006-2007 Cadillac STS-V because "the fuel pump module electrical terminal may overheat." This can cause a flange to melt and allow the pump to leak fuel. GM specifies that the remedy for the CTS-V is replacing the fuel module and fuel tank jumper harness, but it doesn't specify how the STS-V is being repaired.
GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
