Marshfield, Massachusetts, United States
To start with, the ultra rare GM racing manifold with dual quad-carbs, and the special bat wing air filter. Pontiac GM division
made only 205 of these manifolds so they could qualify for NASCAR. They didn't win at Daytona in 1956 with this
rare manifold, but they did brake the worlds speed record, recorded at in their 1956 hard top. (Google it to verify
the famous drivers name and details.)
This car had it's nearly full frame off restoration in 2005-6, and garaged in a climate control building ever
since. It has working period lake pipes with hydraulic manifold on/off under dash switch. Every bit of chrome
redone to the highest standards, as was the body paint. The continental kit is original and perfect. The car was
painted factory red in and out, matching factory upholstery was faithfully re produced. The car has all working
power windows, padded dash, dash mounted over head street light viewer, a period 1950's Sears 45 record player,
(not connected). The blue dot tail lights are 1950's made. spot light, etc., etc.

Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.

NHTSA investigating 550k Pontiac G6 models, 320k Honda Odysseys
Mon, 10 Jun 2013According to two separate reports in The Detroit News, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is launching investigations into 550,000 Pontiac G6 (pictured above) and 320,000 Honda Odyssey (pictured right) models. The G6 models are all from the 2005 to 2007 model years, while the Odyssey minivans are from the 2003 and 2004 model years. The two NHTSA probes are not related.
In the case of the G6, this is an upgrade to an original investigation that started in February after NHTSA received "hundreds of reports" that the brake lights on these cars may malfunction. According to The Detroit News, the lights may come on when the brake pedal is not depressed, and likewise, the brake lights may not illuminate when the pedal has been pushed. General Motors was able to provide NHTSA with a significant number of warranty claims, including 1,100 reports that could potentially relate to this problem, one of which indicates a vehicle crash.
For Honda, the NHTSA probe concerns airbags that may deploy unexpectedly. The government agency received six complaints from 2003-04 Odyssey owners saying that the front airbags suddenly went off without a crash. The Detroit News reports that three of the six owners sustained injuries from these incidents. Additionally, NHTSA has received 41 complaints from owners saying the vehicle's airbag warning light had illuminated.
