2006 Pontiac Gto Base Coupe 2-door 6.0l on 2040-cars
Whiteland, Indiana, United States
To start things off this no longer has the stock engine. There is over 12K in the engine alone. Its a Texas speed LQ9 with AFR heads and a Eaton TVS 1900 supercharger with COG setup. It has diamond pistons with steel top ring and a Curtis Blower cam. It makes 635 HP to the wheels(730 crank). The engine is built to handle 20 PSI of boost but is only tuned for 12 PSI. It also has a Monster Stage 3 clutch. It also has Kooks long tube headers and SLP loud mouth exhaust. For Christmas I got drag radials installed to help with traction issues. As standard tires are not preferred. The wheels are stock and I only plasti dipped them so if you don't like it you can peel it off. I am only getting rid of my toy because we are trying to have a baby and my priorities have changed. I only drive this car on sunny days and it never goes out in the winter. I have a battery tender and car cover for the winter time which goes with the car. I am also selling this local so I may end auction early.

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am
Mon, 13 May 2013No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:

Lutz says Washington killed Pontiac, next G6 was to be ATS derivative
Tue, 29 Oct 2013How many people think Buick or GMC should have gotten the axe instead of Pontiac? You can't see it, but I'm raising my hand. Autoweek reports that former Vice Chairman of GM, Bob Lutz, has indicated that things didn't have to end up the way they did.
"The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.'"
In a talk given at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, Lutz says "The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.' So, it goes. And when the guy who is handing you the check for $53 billion says, 'I don't want Pontiac, drop Pontiac or you don't get the money,' it doesn't take you very long to make up your mind." Lutz even added that the next-generation Pontiac G6 would have benefitted from the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Cadillac ATS. How awesome would that have been?
