Hello - Selling My 1966 GTO - 242 Car color is Marina Turquoise with white pin stripe- Black interior with console Built in Baltimore production sequence is 11 45 65 ( 2676) It is considered a survivor- had one repaint about 15 years ago This is a very solid car for its age- mileage on odometer is 24,000 - not sure if this is original or went over I believe I am the third owner Original matching numbers on engine , transmission and Rear Has the original 389 engine with carter carb 4 barrel , two speed automatic transmission Many new front end parts, heater core , fuel pump, battery , new carpet, Brakes, carter carb recently rebuilt . New master cylinder and brake booster and other parts. Dual exhaust sounds nice --- Does have a Slight exhaust leak on drivers side exhaust manifold. Head liner above passanger side visor - small mouse hole - see picture Car drives and shifts great , does not smoke , Everthing functions , Heater , Lights , blinkers etc......except the original radio and the winshield wipers work but the spray washer does not. How to turn a Pontiac Fiero into a trackday car

It might sound like a pipe dream, but it's actually quite possible, if you're willing to think a little outside the box. The Pontiac Fiero is out there just waiting for a little work to turn it into a competent racing machine.
Think about it for a second. Of course, we would all like to be snaking through the curves in something exotic, but what happens when you crash or something breaks? The bills are going to mount up quickly. However, if you ball up a Fiero at the track, as long as you're not hurt, then it's not a huge tragedy.
That's basically the story of Steven Snyder in a new video from Drive starring Matt Farah. Snyder wanted to go to the track cheaply and ended up with an awesome little Fiero with a huge wing and a claimed 220 horsepower at the wheels thanks to a V6 from a Chevrolet Lumina. GM recalling another 1.3-million cars over power steering woes

General Motors has announced yet another major recall, covering 1.3 million units in the American market over concerns that the power steering could suddenly fail. As reported by The Detroit News' David Shepardson, GM has now recalled nearly ten times as many cars as it did all of last year.
It's important to note that should this problem arise in these cars, the steering won't fail completely, however, power steering could suddenly stop functioning. Manual steering would still be possible, but as GM says, there's an increased risk of accidents, particularly at lower speeds.
Like the ignition switch recall, this latest problem covers a wide range of vehicles from Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac. Mon, 30 Jun 2014General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.
