Irving, Texas, United States

Pontiac G6 GT Hard Top Convertible Low Miles Fun Sports Car. 3.9 V6 has alot of power. This car is very clean and would make someone a great daily driver. It has a full compliment of luxury and convenience features, including power windows, locks, and mirrors, leather seats, power drivers seat, heated front seats, auto a/c, tilt, cruise control, premium am/fm/xm/cd stereo w/steering wheel controls, and much more. This car is clean and ready to go. Be sure and ask any questions you might have. The radio was upgraded from a Pontiac 2008 and has an auxiliar port, original radio will be included as well. Even though car is ready, runs and drive smoothing there are some issues that need be mention.

  • About 2 months ago the original computer stopped working and I took it to a mechanic they charged me 700$ to replace the computer, after doing it the check engine turned on, when I asked them about it they tried to read it with the scanner and said that probably there was a malfunctioning cable between the computer and the reader because they couldnt read it, they also said that the check engine light is normal because they changed the computers and it is needed to clean the error from the computer with the scanner, but because it cant be read they said they couldnt turn it off.
  • Paint has small bubbles on the top (please see pictures)
  • New 2 keyless entry remotes will be included
  • Driver lock seems that it is missing a piece (please see pictures)

Besides that the car doesn't seem to have any other defect, every electrical items work as it supposes to ( locks, windows, cd, ac, etc). The car runs great and right now has State Inspection from Texas and the taxes are paid. I did not crash or had any type of accident or issue the car and I do not knowledge if the previous owner did (I bought the car from a dealership) but Carfax reported that the car was clean and there hasnt been any accidents, issues, crashes, etc, reported on the car.

Happy bidding, sell AS-IS

Watch as Hot Rod goes from El Paso to LA the hard way

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

There are few things simultaneously more romantic and idiotic than taking a road trip in a beaten-down heap of a car. Trust us. We know. David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of Hot Rod Magazine fame recently undertook an epic trip from El Paso, Texas to Los Angeles with the express goal of doing so for under $1,500, including the purchase price of a vehicle, food, lodging, repairs and, most importantly, fuel. With this in mind, the duo settled on a 1972 Pontiac Catalina for a lofty $650. Hilarity ensues.
Realizing that no one actually wants a Catalina sulking around the shop, Freiburger and Finnegan put the car up for auction on eBay Motors the instant they had the title in hand. By the time they rolled into Hot Rod HQ, the vehicle sold for a little over $500.
The video is part of a new series called Roadkill that should document similar adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for more calamity-soaked clips in the near future. In the meantime, hit the jump to check it out yourself.

Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

It seems the Pontiac Trans Am steadfastly refuses to die. Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.

Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
