2006 Pontiac G6 Gt Hard Top Convertible! Great Shape! Best Of Both Worlds! on 2040-cars
Hanover, Pennsylvania, United States
Up for sale is my very nice 2006 Pontiac G6 GT Hard Top Convertible.
YEAR: 2006 MAKE: Pontiac MODEL: G6 TRIM: GT Hard Top Convertible MILEAGE: less than 99k miles EXTERIOR COLOR: Granite Metallic Interior Color: Beige Leather This four-seater, front wheel drive hard top convertible is the best of both worlds -- an extremely solid, sporty coupe in the winter and a beautiful convertible in the summer. MPG rating is 21 city and 28 highway so it's extremely economical as well. It has a 4-speed automatic transmission with a manumatic shifter, so you can drive it like a manual if/when you choose. This car has AM/FM/XM radio capabilities and a CD player. It has steering wheel controls for the stereo, cruise control, LEATHER, HEATED SEATS, REMOTE START!, polished alloy 5-spoke Pontiac wheels, ample trunk space when the top is up (and still some trunk space with the top down!), A FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE (there are very few hardtop convertibles that have a full spare tire!), plenty of storage inside the vehicle... The list goes on and on. I can't even describe in this listing all the features that this car has to offer. The hardtop convertible is much, much nicer than a ragtop. With the top up and the windows up it feels like it's bulletproof - no road noise or flapping around like you might experience with a ragtop. It The hardtop is painted and made of the same material as the rest of the vehicle so it is extremely solid and not a cheap replacement. The top mechanism goes up and down flawlessly and it's extremely neat to watch. This has the 3.5L V6 engine which puts out right around 200 HP and feels a lot more powerful than you would expect. I purchased this vehicle from a dealer who completed their 101-point inspection just before I bought it and I just had another mechanic check it over a few weeks ago. I am very anal about my car and it has been kept free of any problems. No loans or leans on this vehicle. We have a clean PA title in hand and can easily transfer it over. If you're looking for a very nice vehicle without having to deal the markups of a car dealer, this car is for you! I have some flexibility on the price as well so if you're seriously interested please feel free to get in touch with me and we can try to work something out. Thanks for looking! |

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll
Tue, 25 Feb 2014
588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
Autoblog Classifieds finds: 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT
Tue, May 15 2018Autoblog's free Readers' Used Car Classifieds section is a great place to list your car for sale, and because these are readers, they often list really interesting cars. Occasionally we find interesting listings, and tell you what's special about them. This 1987 Pontiac Fiero was listed for sale at the time of this writing, but if the listing expires by the time you read this, feel free to browse for other great finds. Thirty years after General Motors stopped building it, the Pontiac Fiero might have finally emerged from the darkness. First, it was a humble commuter car that just happened to be a mid-engined coupe, then it was a re-skinnable basis for Fierorraris or other slightly strange kit cars, and then it made some Worst Cars of All Time lists due to its econobox ingredients, including its Chevy Citation suspension parts. But after a few decades, even the most mediocre car will become interesting as most of the examples built have been run into the ground; why not then the Fiero? The story of the Fiero is paralleled by a number of GM products, as it improved constantly the longer it was built, and by the time of the last model years it was quite decent indeed. And then the plug was pulled. The Fiero might not be a Toyota MR2 or even a Fiat X1/9, but it was made in two body styles, the notchback and the fastback, the latter of which looks especially good now. The Fiero also remains quite affordable, and the plastic body panels do not rust, unlike with the two aforementioned cars. This 1987 car advertised for sale at Autoblog Classifieds does not yet benefit from the 1988 cars' improved suspension, but thanks to its low, low 47,000-mile odometer reading, it looks to be in tip-top shape. The automatic transmission is just the three-speed affair, though, rendering the V6 car here more of a cruiser than a fiery hot canyon carver. Perhaps that has contributed to its good condition, along with the lack of possibly leaky T-tops. Could the Fiero have aged better than your Hall & Oates tapes? MotorWeek's 80's GM muscle coupe roundup includes Regal GN and Monte Carlo SS
Thu, Jan 29 2015Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect.
