1968 Pontiac GTO with PHS docs. Built in Fremont California and sold out of Tate Motors in Pomona California. This car just went under a frame on restoration. All the body panels are origional and straight. The car was Verdoro Green from the factory but was repainted to Aleutian Blue that looks absolutely stunning. The body panels are laser straight. The car is rock solid!! It also has the hideaway headlights too. The car is a numbers mathing with a 400 engine and 400 auto trans. The motor now has an Edelbrock intake on it but I will include origional with the car. It also has aftermarket Ram AIr on it too. There are his and hers Hurrst shifter as well with the car. The car runs like the day it left the factory. The interior has new carpet and seat covers from Legondary interiors. And the dash looks excellent. All the body panels are origional and super straight and the paint looks great you will be very happy with this car. A/C needs to be charged and could use sun visors replaced or recovered. GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems
Mon, 30 Jun 2014General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
