White 2D Coupe, 178k miles, automatic transmission, RWD, 6 cylinder, T-Top, good/fair condition. For sale from 3rd owner, all were non-smokers. Recently passed PA inspection. Runs well. Nice clean interior. Exterior is also in good overall condition. Little or no rust; right rear quarter panel has a dent (~12" by 10") but the paint is still intact. Its tough to notice from afar and should be fairly easy to repair. AC does not work and likely needs a new compressor (have checked for leaks and there are none). Radio doesn't work well (never has for us), no reception, could be that the antenna isnt connected. CD player works. Shift lever could us a new engage button but that's a minor inconvenience and does not affect operation at all. Son's first car; has a new one so this one can go. Runs well but now mostly sits. Payment: cash, money order, cashiers check, or paypal. Shipping: pick up, or will assist as needed if you want it shipped.

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am
Mon, 13 May 2013No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

Probably a Subaru WRX, and that's what Gregg Hamilton had for a while until working on his car felt too much like his day job. So when he moved from New Zealand to the US to work for Ken Block (with a few stops along the way) he bought something entirely different. This is Gregg's 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. It's a throwback to another time, but it's anything but stock. It has that magic combination of a big V8 with a manual transmission and rear drive, just like the tin-top racers Gregg watched in his Kiwi youth. He bought it sight unseen from its previous owner in Alabama, and has been tinkering with it ever since. There's something about the flared wheel arches and the classic Firebird gold-striped black livery that has us smitten.
