This Classic Car is 98 percent complete body off frame restoration.  No Rust. California Car. Runs Great. Daily driver.  New paint, new tires, new carpet kit and trunk liner, new powder coated stock rims, new gasoline tank, new water pump, new battery and battery tray, re-built 4BBL carb., new coil, New Radiator and Fan and much more! Too much to list.  This vehicle is a piece of American nostalgia.

Please don't insult me with off the wall questions like "what's the paint code number", or "numbers matching" or is this a real 400 because I won't have those answers and personally I don't care I love this car and you should too!.  I had this same car in high school 30 years ago.  I am a woman and I could care less about all the bla bla bla!  I am selling my car because I have to.  I am not happy about having to sell it.  The starting bid is $13,000 take it or leave it.  I will be taking a great loss by allowing this vehicle to even leave my hands as you will not find many of these around and they are continuing to appreciate daily and especially in this beautiful condition.  There are 2 within a 200 mile radius of my location.

So appreciate the car for what it is.  You will not be receiving something in perfect condition as nothing is perfect condition so don't be lazy and think you are getting a perfect classic car for this price and not have to do any of the work yourself.  These antique cars are just that "Antique".  A hobby.  Fun!!!  They are not for the sleaze bag flipper and personally,  I would not sell my car to someone who wants to flip it and believe me I will feel you out on that one and look into your past history.  So don't even think about it!  GOOD LUCK!

Own it today!!!

Vehicle is an antique and with that comes minor maintenance responsibilities all the time.  Seller assumes no responsibility once the vehicle has been bid on.  The high bidder is the new owner of the vehicle and is required to complete payment within the specified period of time.  $2,000 deposit required within 48 hours.  Buyer responsible for transport and shipping.  Seller can assist in arranging.  Pink slip hand over upon completion of payment.

For questions please email or call (818)-310-7506.

Good Luck!!!

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

Fri, 21 Sep 2012

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

NHTSA investigating 550k Pontiac G6 models, 320k Honda Odysseys

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

According to two separate reports in The Detroit News, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is launching investigations into 550,000 Pontiac G6 (pictured above) and 320,000 Honda Odyssey (pictured right) models. The G6 models are all from the 2005 to 2007 model years, while the Odyssey minivans are from the 2003 and 2004 model years. The two NHTSA probes are not related.
In the case of the G6, this is an upgrade to an original investigation that started in February after NHTSA received "hundreds of reports" that the brake lights on these cars may malfunction. According to The Detroit News, the lights may come on when the brake pedal is not depressed, and likewise, the brake lights may not illuminate when the pedal has been pushed. General Motors was able to provide NHTSA with a significant number of warranty claims, including 1,100 reports that could potentially relate to this problem, one of which indicates a vehicle crash.
For Honda, the NHTSA probe concerns airbags that may deploy unexpectedly. The government agency received six complaints from 2003-04 Odyssey owners saying that the front airbags suddenly went off without a crash. The Detroit News reports that three of the six owners sustained injuries from these incidents. Additionally, NHTSA has received 41 complaints from owners saying the vehicle's airbag warning light had illuminated.

'67 Chevy Corvair convertible vs. '86 Pontiac Fiero in cult classic showdown

Fri, 22 Aug 2014

Every few a decades, the folks running General Motors lose their minds briefly try to market a car that public doesn't see coming and often aren't ready for. In the '60s there was the rear-engine, air-cooled Chevrolet Corvair, then the mid-engine Pontiac Fiero in the '80s and the completely bizarre Chevy SSR in the 2000s. What all of these had in common was that they bucked the trend for American models of their era, for better or worse. The latest episode of Generation Gap tasked the hosts with finding two cult classic vehicles to choose between; they came come up with two of these quirky products from The General.
On the classic side, there's a 1967 Chevy Corvair Monza convertible. Being from later in the production run, it wears slightly more aerodynamic styling than the earlier, boxier examples. Hanging out back is an air-cooled, 2.7-liter flat-six pumping out a robust 95 horsepower. In the other corner is the somewhat more modern 1986 Pontiac Fiero SE with a mid-mounted, 2.5-liter "Iron Duke" four-cylinder, an engine nearly ubiquitous in GM cars of the '80s.
Judging by when they were new, the Corvair was far more successful than the Fiero with over 1.8 million sold. Of course, Ralph Nader's book Unsafe at Any Speed kind of poisoned the well, even if the poor safety reputation wasn't entirely deserved. The Fiero on the other hand only lasted for a few model years before shuffling off, but it eventually got its own performance boost with the V6 version and rather attractive GT models. Check them both out in the video and tell us in Comments which you want in your garage.
