GUTS: The entire car  has been extensively rebuilt/ restored/ modified.  Equipped with a 1969 HP440 with a mild .474 lift Hyd MP cam, Edelbrock RPM intake, holley 750 VS carb, Jet-Hot coated 1-7/8 hooker headers, HV oil pump, MSD ignition and distributor, Griffin Radiator, dual Spal fans with shroud, auxiliary  transmission cooler with metal lines, Cheetah  dual pattern Shifter, full Autometer Gauges, all quality internal components and other performance parts.  all Moog front suspension parts, ball-joints, tie-rods etc. new power brake booster and master cylinder, front disk, rear drum,  The 727 automatic Transmission is a Cope Racing, “superstreet” w/ a PTC 11" converter, SFI flex plate, Mopar mini starter,  Dana 60 Rear axle 3.54 gear, Superstock springs, Comp Eng Shocks, Polished American Racing Torq-Thrust II's 15x5" 15x10" 215-70-15 front 345/65-15 drag radials rear, custom 3" mandrel bent exhaust with equalizing tube and dynomax mufflers, stainless tips. full Padded, upholstered rollbar meets drag racing specs to 8.5 seconds. It drives very well, smooth and fast, in traffic or on the open road, no troubles, lots of enjoyment.

GLORY: Extensively restored/modified 1966 two door hardtop Fury III, The body has had the rear fenderwells tubbed,the rear wheel arch extended for the large tires, the c-pillar trim was removed, fender emblems were replaced with smaller name badges, the hood was cut and the front section was made to bolt on while the main section is a lift off fiberglass piece and was built with core-mat to maintain rigidity, a max wedge scoop is similar in design to the deck lid, creates a continuity of design.      Top of the line PPG primers and paint were used to finish the body, painted B3 blue with a sparkling metalflake in a clear binder then cleared with DBC2000 clear and buffed, all the aluminum trim including the entire grill and side molding was stripped, straightened, polished and anodized for a factory appearance, all the stainless was buffed,  the potmetal was re-chromed as were the bumpers and all the interior trim, new weather-strip and rubber throughout the entire car. The interior is all new upholstery in the original silver-blue vinyl with navy blue velour inserts and embroidered emblems, the original dash pad was removed for a vintage painted style, the gauge panels are modified for a clean almost factory appearance. All interior trim panels were rechromed, new headliner and sound deadening throughout the interior, Sony CD/ with front aux port stereo and four infinity speakers in the rear deck offer plenty of sound.   Notice the gauge pictures are of the car idling, you can plainly see the oil pressure, water temp, voltage, trans temp and fuel gauges work and show good numbers.

PRIDE: This Fury is a multiple show winning car, It won its first show, Pro-Street category at Garlits, it won Ladies choice at SGMP, first place in a dozen open shows, and continues to win or place highly wherever I drive it., It has been featured in Mopar Muscle Magazine, has been driven at speed around the 1.5 mile banked oval Atlanta Motor Speedway, There are many more items of note about this Fury and many build/finished pics available. US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. 'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
