Up for auction is my 2005 Nissan Xterra with about 99,300 miles. The vehicle is in excellent condition and has been very well maintained for. What you see in the pictures, is the most off-roading it has done. If you have done your research on these vehicles, you will know that they had a radiator/transmission issue, but fortunately for you, the radiator was replaced and the transmission (including a NEW OEM valve body) was done less than 1,000 miles ago along with new U-Joints and a new Nissan battery.
In the same time frame, we put a 3” front lift, and 2’ rear lift, along with 33” Nitto Terra Grappler tires (285/75/16) which are mounted on the factory 16” five spoke wheels which are POWDER COATED flat black. Also, we installed step bars to make getting in and out of the vehicle a little bit easier for my wife and I as we are now knocking at the door of 60 years old. (boy does time fly…). We also installed a new Bull Bar with a 21” Off Road LED Bar which if you have not seen lit up at night, you are missing out. It is amazing how much light this bar puts out. The carbon fiber hood decal was installed to eliminate the yellow glare on those sunny days while going down the road.
The Interior of the vehicle is in
excellent condition. It has the factory Xterra floor mats, with the Nissan
rubber all weather mats on top. The driver seat shows a little bit of wear, but
no more than expected for a vehicle this age. In the trunk area, we had a
custom, carbon fiber vinyl, padded mat made with yellow vinyl around the border
and “X” sewn in the middle. This is very helpful in keeping things from sliding
around as the Xterras are not carpeted in the cargo area.
If you have any questions, fell free to contact Kosta @ 609-970-0052 or email me taxsaver311@yahoo.com I reserve the right to end the auction early due to a local sale. Thank you and happy bidding!!! |

Nissan Sport Sedan Concept foretells a future Maxima
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Nissan is in the midst of overhauling its design language. We got our first glimpse at the direction its style was going a year ago with the Resonance crossover concept, which was followed in Shanghai by the connected-car Friend-Me hatchback concept. And now, after dropping a few hints, Nissan has revealed the third in this developing series.
Unveiled at today's Detroit Auto Show, the new Sport Sedan Concept applies many of the same design elements we've seen on Nissan's previous show cars to a more conventional four-door shape. But far from a design exercise, the decidedly uncreatively named Sport Sedan Concept previews "a future production sports sedan," which has every indication of being the next Maxima.
Its dimensions reveal the concept to be bigger than the current Maxima in every direction but height, with that visual impression further entrenched by a floating roof design that combines with a high waistline to give a coupe-like profile. There are also sharp creases in the bodywork that visually break up the space between the rear set of 21-inch alloys and the tapered greenhouse. The shape is further punctuated by the V-shaped grille and distinctly Nissan boomerang-shaped lights that lend a face to this distinctly Japanese design that was penned in California and honed back in Japan. The sharp and simple cabin is characterized by a high-contrast palette with quilted leather and metallic trim.
NISMO confirms hotter GT-R, return to Le Mans and more performance models [w/videos]
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Nissan has made three announcements, all of which intend to sharpen the global significance and sales of its NISMO performance arm. Calling it "a new era for NISMO as its global performance car and motorsports brand," Carlos Ghosn cut the ribbon on the new, larger, nicer NISMO headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. For the first time since the division was founded in 1984, all of its employees are located in one place that was dubbed "a hothouse of passion and performance." Sign us up.
There, the team will start overhauling Nissan's entire range with NISMO models. The Juke NISMO is right around the corner for the US market, the second generation of the 370Z NISMO is coming for 2014, the first GT-R NISMO is being developed, and after that will come "a range of affordable performance Nissan models from small cars to flagship sports cars" - a new model every year. The expanded product line will mean that markets that haven't had access to NISMO's works will finally be able to buy them.
The last big news is that from now on NISMO will manage every one of Nissan's global motorsports programs, and its largest initiative will be prepping an entry for Le Mans in 2014. While Nissan has left the DeltaWing project, it hasn't walked away from experimental racers: the brand aims to have "a pioneering Nissan race car showcasing electric technology" ready in 15 months that shows "a new approach to innovation and excitement."
2013 Nissan Juke Nismo
Tue, 07 May 2013Scratching All The Right Itches
Say what you will about the unconventional aesthetics that Nissan employed on the company's Juke. I love the thing. The universe has no shortage of ambiguously styled CUVs, and while I can't exactly say I would have turned to the amphibian world for design inspiration had it been me with the charcoal in my hand, I can certainly appreciate the fact that the Juke isn't just another box-on-box design.
And then there's that engine. The turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder under the hood is one of the best powerplants in the company's toy box, offering plenty of low-range torque and comical levels of thrust. Hell, it even makes the optional continuously variable transmission tolerable. Praise be to the deities of forced induction. But something has always been missing from the mix. From the first moment I got my hands on the Juke, I couldn't help but think how much better the machine would be if Nissan ditched an inch or two of ground clearance and sharpened up its suspension. Think more "hot hatch" and less "Kermit goes to Kroger."
